I always wanted to buy one of the Indiana Jones Novels but I was worried about how well they were written. Did you like them for the most part or did they kind of fall flat?
WOW!!! I haven't read it yet but SOON WILL!!! I love these books as they are so well written and are real INDY stories sanctioned by LUCAS!!! Good Reading!!! Bill
Peril at Delphi Dance of the Giants Seven Veils Genesis Deluge Unicorn's Legacy Interior World Sky Pirates White Witch Philosopher's Stone Dinosaur Eggs Hollow Earth Secret of the Sphinx Temple of Doom Raiders of Lost Ark Last Crusade Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Hi Bill , I just bought the first 12 books featured in your video ( indiana jones novels bantam books ) from amazon . I just had another question : is their a particular order you have to read them in ?
The order to read them is the order that they are listed in the front flap. Also the ORDER THAT I PRESENTED THEM. You should read the paperbacks in the order they were written as they use a lot of built on historical perspective from past books... Bill
A very good job bill , found this very helpful . One of the best reviews I have ever seen . I was thinking about buying some new books recently , and i have now made my decision on what I am going to buy . Just one question : what are the books you most recommened out of all of the ones you showed ?
Thanks for the nice comments. I would highly recommend the new 3 in one ADVENTURES of Indiana Jones - which are the first 3 movies in one book. The TWO OMNIBUS comics are great. The JOURNAL OF INDIANA JONES will be worth a lot of money someday - if you get the leatherette version - see - "Bills' Creations - The Lost Journal of Indiana Jones"... Bill
The 4th books follows the movie closely and gives MUCH inside information and background information for the movie. This book, was written while the movie was being filmed so the author had access to EVERYTHING and had to sign his life away to make sure he wouldn't reveal anything in the movie before release. THE 4th BOOK was released the same day that the movie was released. I would recommend reading the book AND SEEING THE MOVIE!!! Bill
The books in this review are ALL CURRENT book offerings. There are older scholastic books and many movie books - I have most of them. I wanted to cover novels and story books related to the character of INDY that are directly sanctioned by LUCUS. I also know and HAVE most of the older comics from the late 80's and early 90's. But they are no longer available for sale. These that I covered can ALL be purchased through AMAZON and other sources... Thanks for the comments... Bill
they are movie novals i am not sure if it is by lucas books but it does take a dive into the story and actually gives alot more info into the movie and they are actually very new i belive well i know the crystal skull is new
The THREE books of the movies were written in FULL collaboration with LUCAS and released with the movie - at least the last one. The first had a LOT OF storyboard info that could only be had from LUCAS. It talked in great detail of the quest to Marion's Bar for example. Great reads - all of them!!! And the paperbacks are terrific!!! Bill
They sure did!!! The BOOK Raiders of the Lost Arc has the BEST WRITTEN INTROS of ANY BOOK EVER WRITTEN. Anyone who has built the TEMPLE ESCAPE - see - "Bills' Creations - Lego Indiana Jones Temple Escape" - MUST read this EXCELLENT story in the book which covers it in fine detail... Bill
I am a die hard INDY fan and really enjoy a great adventure yarn and these books ALL fit the desire to a T!!! The new two OMNIBUS books vol 1 - 2 are particularly nice. Over 700 pages of GRAPHIC COMIC stories - 6 full length stories of INDY in comic form!!! Wonderful books and a MUST for all INDY fans... Bill
I haven't thought that it a book of Indiana Jones is sold which is called 'Indiana Jones and the Philosopher's stone'. The first adventure of Harry Potter is called 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone'.
Do you have the Monster Truck Race from the Lego Race series? 'Race' is a own series and it's not 'Racers'. I've got that set and it's awsome.
