stock will pull itself up in 1st in middle of seat no yanking necessary. piped jetted and filtered on road pull itself in 2nd gear 3rd and up will require pulling on bars. I had a z400 which is the same thing for 4 years. with pipe etc mine would smoke a stock 450r
