The reason they are giving you a profile invalid if your using AT&T, is the new update patched the way that they can tether using that website. The admin of the site and his team is still currently figuring out a way to solve the issue.

This does not work with non jailbroken iphones running 3.1.2. You need to drop the firmware from 3.1.2 back down to 3.0 or 3.0.1 in order to do this.

Your firmware version is probably not 3.0, can you verify that? If you're running v. 3.1, then you will need to downgrade to 3.0 to get it to work

**note--this trick seems to uninstall everything on your phone, so back up to your computer first.
