@EnragedImp That's not true at all, anyone can play something regardless of whether or not they wrote it. All it takes is practice. Oftentimes if you practice enough, you can become better at playing something than the original composer.

This guy is like Malmsteen's younger brother. Appreciate the intense speed, but I can't do it. Hard to be accomplished at all styles. This guy seems to be able to compose & write his own exceedingly well done compositions. This shows he is not a mere bedroom copy artist. A real talent here. I also appreciate the slow hand technique and feeling as I am older. Even Satch and Vai know how to slow it down, a touch of speed should be for dramatic crescendo effect.

However... just because someone isnt making those faces dosent mean they are playing with soul. People express themselves differently, sometimes through speed and accuracy. Also, people that bash on fast players usually cant play fast themselves (im not saying you were bashing) If your going to be critical of something....make sure you can do what you criticizing.

Playing "Fade to Black" by Metallica is more difficult than this in my opinion. However when learning music, nothing is difficult, it's just tedious. I've been playing guitar for over ten years, and I can tell you, and any other real guitarist will agree: "shredding" is the easiest aspect of playing. I'm not trying to be condescending either, I'm just stating the facts. I could easily learn this piece within fifteen hours, it's not a matter of being hard, it's just whether or not you're willing.
