This is my favourite song from the TAMI show. Mick often says the the band is Charlie's, certainly early on Charlie drove the energy and Bill is underlooked for some really tasty bass lines. Of course Keith provided the great, inspirational licks and Brian was the wild card. But don't overlook the voice. Mick often gets knocked for not having the perfect voice... but he is the greatest interpreter and phraser of rock music. He takes songs like Sinatra did and makes them his... off the hook.

Great bass line. Check out that equipment, no monitors and those little amps. Still, the got a great sound out of them. This was at the Santa Monica Civic and I believe that it was free. The promoters just recruited local kids, I'm sure they didn't have any trouble.

Great song.I've always liked Bill Wyman as well as Brian and I think they are still together after all these years.Sticky Fingers was a great albumn and the song Gimme Shelter blew me away.

They got louder audience response because they were the new thing. They look scared and unprofessional when compared to JB and his tight band and backup! Don't get me wrong, I am a decades long Stones fan. The first album I ever bought was "out Of Our Heads", followed by one of James Brown. The Stones copied all of the black music styles ansd songs anyway!!
