@bigwood2315 cannabis is used for severe physical pain all the time, but you would just 'spark a joint' then be ok... obviously... you use much stronger concentrated forms e.g oils, budder, hash etc.. And if it doesn't completely stop your pain what it does do is take your mind of it and make it easier to deal with. The problem with dealing with pain using pills and junk on a regular basis is that is has a profound effect on your liver and nervous system.. Fact.

First of all when you are that age there is no way he is going out and finding the right kinds and if you just go out and ask for the strongest stuff thats when you get your shit laced and you get put in the hospital for not taking the stupid pills. The habit will most likely last far beyond when the pain stops too.

@bigwood2315 It is basically a band aid for the pain and so is the painkillers. The only difference being one will definitely work better for MOST people but not all. For some people weed is the way to go but for teenagers you don't really have a choice. If you don't like the painkiller you have request a different one. it will not work for the pain in all people. I smoked with a messed up ankle (broken for the fourth time) and it had an effect only when I was so high i passed out.

I am very interested in the subject and I'll definitely go take a look at those videos you mentioned. I am very open minded in the subject and in general for the most part. I completely agree I am an advocate for the legalization of marijuana and especially hemp because of all of its uses and I applaud you for getting the information out.

@TheMarijuanaLeague About the lacing deal I never worried about it much until Senior year I had a friend who had to be hospitalized and put in a psych ward for 2 weeks because somebody laced his weed with PCP and unluckily enough for him he smoked it right before detention and it was just a huge ordeal. After that I was always careful about only buying from people you know. And I don't live in Cali or Colorado I live in Texas I can't just go to a clinic I'd love to though.

Cannabis can eliminate every physical withdrawal symptom of opiate withdrawal except possibly insomnia, you will likely still be awake through the withdrawal period but you will feel good and be able to normally. Afterwards though you will still have to deal with the mental side of no longer taking opiates.
