I don't want to piss anyone off but the truth is that lemon jelly actually don't do anything during conserts. They just press play and then stand there screwing on knobs on machines that aren't even connected.
Sorry - they actually played real instruments during the show (see above video).
So while I am sure there are entire sections that are in fact sequenced (including the integrated visuals), they do a fair bit more than pressing "play".
@izod fact is two guys cant play more than 2 instruments at a time, so allot has to be sequenced. Performing any multi-tracked tune live is going to present this issue, allot of it is sequenced but also generated live , pre-recorded is probably not the best word to use..
You don't want to piss anyone off? Of course you do - I just wonder if you have ever actually been to a lemon jelly gig or have some kind of grudge to lie like that. You are strange. I've seen them live more than once and have seen great musicianship on display, excellent visuals and great mixes. Where did your 'opinion' come from?
Well I have no reason to lie about this. The thing is that a friend of mine met one of the guys from lemon jelly and that's what he told him. Perhaps the guy from lemon jelly was just joking around but what do I know
I was at this gig and it was fucking magic. Incidentally I'm also from Canada (near Toronto) and was on vacation there when I saw them. Judging from where this video was shot, I was probably about 15 feet to the left of you.
That's hilarious! I was over working in the UK for 6 months, and have been a huge fan of these guys for ages - and yes, I would totally agree with the descriptive: Magic.
Yeah it went so well at the end of spaced that edgar wright used it again at the end of the deleted scenes of spaced and at the end of the location walkthrough of spaced lol. But im not complaining the songs great.
LOL. This reminds me of a New Zealand ad that goes on about how you Aussies stole, Dragon, Split Enz and Crowded House from us here in NZ. You aren't the only country down under... in fact we are way further down under than you are LOL But no, Lemon Jelly is British sadly...
Thanks! It's an old (at this point) Sony Cybershot T3. When I shot this series of videos I wasn't using it's "high quality" (i.e. 30 fps) mode yet, so it's only 15 fps, but it's still 640 x 480. With a 4 GB card, I can record a full hour of straight "high quality" video (the length of the video is only limited by the amount of space on the card). I am really happy with this camera, and it's subsequent updates look to be even better...
Pretty awesome.

You got your ad's confused, AMP New Zealand used Staunton Lick for its commercial "What is Success" and NZI used things that aussies stole from NZ.
