Tip for cheap ink (especially helpful if you do papercraft, but still recommended otherwise) :

Buy ink in bulk with a few syringes for refilling your cartridges. You can get 14 ounces of ink for about $20-$30, and one standard ink cartridge holds about 1 ounce. Just look on ebay.

thanks for this^^. i luv all ur vids and i always look forward to them:) some of the pages i printed out had stripes on them, i have no idea why. the ink was all the way full. but it didn't happen to all my pages. could it be because my printer is really old?

try taking out the ink and cleaning the head, there may be smears on the ink head which causes this.
