this dua is one of my favorites, It is good for every day, it is like reading 2 duas in one it starts like Komayl dua and then becomes a dua faraj or the dua for time of ghaybat there towards the end. It is great.

This dua was written by the 12th Imam Mehdi (A.S). Only an Imam appointed by Allah (swt) can have the knowledge and intellect to put such a master piece of Dua for us.

im so glad to hear bassim may Allah bless him and please mention our Imams as much as possible im a shia revert and i love my Imams i could not live my life without Allah and the prophet and his fantastic family my sunni brother and sisters please read books about our IMama and lady Fatima and Lady zainab like i did ,my family abandon me when i come to Islam but i have the prophets family and they have guided me so much

Salam I have been brought up as a sunni and don't see changing your views to the shia school as converting if you were 'sunni' beforehand. We are all Muslims and regardless we believe in Allah and Muhammad is His messenger it is good to make dua for the Ulimah and to love them but not above Allah swt and Muhammad SAW. Which I'm sure you don't :) So salam my sister may Allah reward you and give you peace in this life and the next and give you the Tawfiq to guide your family towards the truth :)

Absolutely wonderful recitation of a dua apt for RAMADAN and I invite muslim brothers from other sects to listen and get an insight to the Duas and supplications available in Shia Muslim Dua Kitaabs. This should also open the eyes of Wahhaabis who normally scorn our faith and ban our dua books when we go for Hajj.

I agree to a certain extent brother. The first part of this Dua and Dua Kumail are excellent Duas regardless of sect; however, one from the Sunni standpoint (like myself) will run into problems with them when they start to mention the Imams and other points of contention between us... But all in all, the first part of this dua is one of the best I have ever heard, jazakallahu khairan for putting it up Zulfiqarr.

And i understand that your belief may differ in some part about the Shia beliefs. But it is good to know more details about the problems you have annunciate.

2nd Part Shouldn't be an issue either since it is they who wrote this dua, it is prophesied in Bukhari that there will be 12 Imams & all Sunni sects started by the Shia 6th Imam.
