Kathy: Michelle, well first of all congratulations for representing the Latino population! How does it feel to be an inspiration to all Latinos?

Michelle: *laughs* IDK a/b that…but well I feel good, proud, honored, but eh with a lot of pressure that I don’t deserve, b/c I’m only human. I’ve always said it.

K: But you DO deserve it b/c u are a phenomenal actress! Give us a bit of advice to those people who would like to one day pursue acting & follow in your footsteps.

M: Don’t ever lose your integrity….is that how u say integrity in Spanish? *laughs* That’s the most important thing. As long as you don’t lose that no one can ever put you down.

K: Well, where will we see u now? What your new target? Goal?

M: Well to go behind the camera and begin writing as well. For me, the difficulty is not being Latina, but rather being an independent or free woman, and there seems to not be a voice for that. Many Hollywood men write about women and they don’t know shit a/b them. About the vibrant, active, free spirited woman—this is what I’d like to convey.
