I love the 70s and 80s cinema. I love the production values, the vibe, the style and everything. Today celebrity culture(reality TV shit) has destroyed the culture of good, meaningful cinema. All I do is watch movies from the past and am something of an authority as far as old films go. Needless to say this has made me a loner of sorts since most of my friends watch shallow, recent crap.

One of the best car chases in Hollywood film's to me.This is the best of Wang Chung for sure.This soundtrack had tendency's leaning toward a mix of XTC and Elton John great album and in my own opinion the soundtrack was better than the movie.

If any have not heard the entire sound track album your really missing out. I would highly recommend this one as a must have for music in the car .. provided that car is a Ferrari.

I have wonderful memories of this on cassette tape in my Alfa Romeo on favorite twisty roads at night. Just the music from the stereo and the music from the engine.

This movie has some of the best cinematography that I have ever seen and some fantastic locations. Friedkin is a genius and made this film for a measly $6,000,000. This movie has been "Retimed" (color made more accurate) for DVD release and looks even better now than when it was released theatrically. If you can find it on sale buy it.

This movie is a masterpiece from 1985. The scenes are so authentic and realistic...the cast felt so natural as if they act without script. The camera, scenery and lighting was natural. Amazing camera angles at carchase. The plot was great and unpredictable.
