Military Hairstyle #2 (Bun Using Sock)

great vid! I have been in the military for 5 years. i usually wear my hair in a sock bun at work. i have noticed that my hair is breaking off from wearing it like this everyday. I moisturize everyday and i deep condition every other week but it still breaks off. are there hair styles that's military friendly with less stress on the hair?

I will be signing with the Air Force and I have a male recruiter and it's hard to ask him hair questions but how can I do a sock bun if my hair is naturally thick and curly?

Can women have short layered hair? Or does it have to be one length? Also, are bangs allowed? If so do they have to be one length or can they be side bangs.

Sorry for all the questions. I just want to make sure I won't be violating any rules when I enlist in the Navy. My hair is too short for any type of bun, but very nice video. :D

Just to let women know, make sure you use elastic hair ties that MATCH your hair color. I got into huge trouble once, i had a black elastic pony tail holder in my hair, and my hair was very light brown at the time. But neat idea. Wish i had known about this at basic training for the Air Force, would of come in handy !!!
