It would seem to me as most black metal bands have completely misunderstood things. Why do they use such props as pig's heads? Is it farm animals which are the enemy? I thought it was God who was the enemy - and if so, wouldn't it make sense to attack the being which is supposed to be made in his image: Man? I think most black metal bands use these props because they don't really believe what they proclaim; they play it safe by using what they know isn't illegal but still excites little kids.

Metallicatrivium, you have completely misunderstood what constitutes a good show. If I wanna see people do drunk and fucked up things I just go party with my friends. When I see a band, especially of Mayhem's calibre, I want a clear, concise show. Besides, Attila=way better showman than Maniac. Maniac just stood there like a dumbass. Attila gets into character, does weird shit, and gives you a show that's worth remembering, without having to get drunk and forget the lyrics to the songs.
