I had the same problem and used the spatula technique for a while until I decided to fix it myself. I was easier than I thought. I bought the ignition cylinder at O'Rileys Auto parts for $64.99. The instructions that came with it said to watch the installation video online. See the link below. It even shows you how to fix it to use it with the old key. Putting the bottom plastic cover back on was more difficult. Good Luck!!
