I can't ask God that I need my kids to be saved and live on that eternal kingdom that He promised. We will be facing if we/I are/am worthy to live on that heavenly kingdom. Thanks for sharing the old songs of The Heritage Singers with us. It really brings back alot of good memories of my parents when we use to play these in the late 70's to the early 80's right before sunset every friday evenings. Back in the days, The best time for family home evening. Pray that we continue to do God's will.
I woke up with this song on my heart, and I am learning to have faith and to trust in God more each and everyday. There are some many different things happening around me and I am so thankful that God is sustaining myself and those around me. God is ever faithful. Wow, this song takes me back to my childhood. Every sabbath my parents would play records from Heritage Singers. These songs are still a comfort even today. Through all the noice and struggles in the world today, these songs bring calmness and peace in my life. Praise God :-)
The melody is so confiding, and there was those days when I found comfort in it to calm my empty ignorant heart. Now good history has spoken to me and said; it's just lethargic sweetness that comes off the spyware and infectious content of the bible. I found this song by mistake. I grew up listening to this kind of music. I was so proud to be an 7th Day Adventist. I praise Jesus for leading to this page. When I was just a baby, my father used to sing with the Mace family in a little church in Idaho. Now, my father has been dead more than 20 years. Many times between then and now, it seemed this world wasn't going to go on much longer. Still, here we are. Max is still doing what he was called to do. The other Mace family members are engaged in their own lives now. I still see them now and then. May God continue to bless them all. I only wish my life blessed others as much.

The melody is so confiding, and there was those days when I found comfort in it to calm my empty ignorant heart. Now good history has spoken to me and said; it's just lethargic sweetness that comes off the spyware and infectious content of the bible. If you read beyond A.D. 1st century you'll get the right message too. Now I wish the gospel was real.

@jeremiah2004 , the gospel is real..it transforms lifes, even the liefes of the worst the world has seen, are broken in pieces and then made new once they crash against the "Rock of Ages", our lovely Saviour Jesus christ.....
No science can explain this phenomenon, but because of Jesus, I'm not a criminal today... or someone that would bring shame to my family. I praise GOD the Almighty, for his Son JESUS my redeemer, and YOUR redeemer if you will...

@balasotodandy Hey, thanks my friend. You must think coherent and logically in all things to identify contradiction and conflict in issues. Read again Genesis 1--6 ch and analyze the character and behavior of the god it speaks of. The both are impossible to represent each other. E.G., If God has foresight, then it was pointless to make man then repented he did it. No excuses please, what say you, in logical terms?

@jeremiah2004 Jeremiah I want you to know that I once thought like you, some time ago I was not a believer as much as I was bought up in the church, I was such a logic thinker and thought none of this could be real. Til one time in my life, I lost the love I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with, my job, I moved out of home and I hit rock bottom.

@jeremiah2004 God spoke to me in that time of my life as I sobbed and wept every ugly detail of my past was lifted off of me, Jesus held my hand and he told me that he loved me, he guided me back to the cross and since then, my life has changed, I have never lived a life so full and content and because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I am a better person.

The bible disabled about three (3) of my senses by the idea of spurious Satan and God, none of which exist but in our imaginations. B.C. ancient history is the right-source for human knowledge of origin--not the bible, it's proven delusion.

Many convicts change their behavior after the loss of their freedom as well. They too start to believing, it's easy to believe and take a new course. @jeremiah2004 There is so much more to what you're saying. What influenced my thoughts and change of behaviour was that one defining moment in my life where God spoke to me. In a time where my life was nothing but toil, a chasing after the wind, meaningless love for material things, I was a Prodigal Son. I learnt from all that in life as I hit the deepest and lowest part of my life. Ever since I read the bible and prayed to God, my life has become better, I'm a new man now.

@budzsan Budzsan: You need to analyze and compare the character of the Genesis God, you'll see that it's impossible for that to be a God with fore-sight and perfect in knowledge, wisdom and understanding. How well it goes over to you reading Genesis 6:5-7 vs. He repented that he made man? Impossible, though that may be a god, it's not the creator of our great world. Too many conflicts and contradictions to be correct.
How can any put faith in such a bizarre idea?

I found this song by mistake. I grew up listening to this kind of music. I was so proud to be an 7th Day Adventist. I praise Jesus for leading to this page. I'm lost now and I know God will lead me back to Him. I just hope that other people will pray for me and that I still have a chance to recover everything I lost for leaving Jesus. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME.

This song also make me remember my friend Joy Lee, she has been pray for me everyday since 4 yrs ago, and we pray each other eventhough we live in different country. When I was just a baby, my father used to sing with the Mace family in a little church in Idaho. Now, my father has been dead more than 20 years. Many times between then and now, it seemed this world wasn't going to go on much longer. Still, here we are. Max is still doing what he was called to do. The other Mace family members are engaged in their own lives now. I still see them now and then. May God continue to bless them all. I only wish my life blessed others as much.
