Head on out the Delio's Pizza in Chapel Hill on HWY 64. That was our hang out in the '80s. Then we would find abandoned houses out in the woods and take them over for parties. It was creepy, but we were goths, we liked it.
I lived in Tyler for a long time, and it could be boring at times. The bible-belt mentality is also a drag, that's true enough. Not much worse than preachy, hypocritical Christians(which Tyler has in abundance). That being said... make some friends, go to a party for fuck's sake. It's not that hard to find something to do besides hang out at Chili's. You're living in an area with over 100,000 people, it's not like you're out in the middle of nowhere.
Trust, we do more than go to Chili's. We go to Starbucks too! :) I don't really take a camera out while "partying". It kind detracts from the fun. Also, most people don't like being filmed while consuming many of the things present at "parties". We don't really have a vision with our "escapades". The whole excessive Church/Christianity thing is just what makes our quite typically mundane teenage lives at least somewhat different from those all over the country.
Haha, ok the Starbucks comment made me chuckle. I honestly wouldn't expect you to film any happenings at any parties; that definitely wouldn't go over well in most cases. I was just hoping you guys did more than travel around the immediate area filming the most banal of activities. Good to know you guys do have social lives;)

I think the anticlimacy of the episodes will become a staple of the "show". Just as many of Tyler's staples prove to really just be facades.
