Yer i tried to and says absenth.exe stopped working even with security off (tried several times) . it can be finished when iphone reinstalled but when connecting vpn, the config. stays on for over 10 minutes. So no go for me to.....

It didn't work. When I turned VPN on, the error thing came up, but we waited like 10 minutes and nothing happened :S

Does not work for me and my iPad 2 (3G, 32 GB).

Tried several times under W7 Enterprise 64 bit and W7 Ultimate 32 bit.

No VPN, no code lock.

Tried Windows XP compatibility mode and run as administrator.

Absinthe 0.2 hangs in "Beginning jailbreak, this may take a while.." screen for 1 hour now. CPU load 0%. CPU usage on iPad is between 2 and 4 %, so I think that there will nothing happen anymore.

Anyone who succeeded in jailbreaking an iPad2 with Absythe for Windows?

@Freaquence Do a complete back up and then go to settings and Erase and Reset all settings. Try jailbreaking on a fresh iPad, this way you won't be stuck on for a hr. After jailbreak you can restore all your content back.
