singers pull the mic away from their face when they hit high notes, cuz in order to singer higher, you usually have to sing louder. so when your singing louder, you can pull the mic away to keep everything about the same volume while still hitting all your notes

@Vaziel Dude I've been the singer in a band before. You can move the mic away from your mouth and still sing. It doesn't have to be like an inch away from your mouth it can pick it up for like a foot if your singing like Brent does.

@that1kid1991 indeed this is true. ive done vocals for bands so i know how to sing into a mic. also i am an audio technician so i understand the functions of a microphone and how they work. the way he holds the mic while he`s belting vocals is in a dead zone and on any other mic will pick up very minimal or no audio what so ever. so this is where i question his singing.
