  • Dimebag would have played it with more feeling.

  • what kind of guitar are you using?

  • ja tam błędów wielu nie widzę. grunt to utrzymać klimat.

  • Boring—no rubato and poor dynamics. Nice try, though.

  • SUPER!

Zgadłem, że jesteś z Polski po kaloryferze :>

  • @dvlPL hahaha :D gratuluje :) chociaż obecnie już został wymieniony na nowy:)

  • very good well done to you x

  • dobre kurwa

  • dobra robota :)) +

  • super !

  • This is so beautiful man... i can fall asleep deep into the melody.

  • nicely played mate.

i just learned the spanish romance. now i want to learn this(i have been playing for 3 months) should i try or wait till my skill gets better??

  • @profilemorbid83 how can i know how good you are. You can check how well it may go, it's difficult so don't get discourage at the begining, you'll be gaining your skills back along with the practicing.

  • Rgt42dx ?

  • wow!! i didnt know that ibanez sounds like that O_O

  • there must have been something severe made Beethoven write this so sad music. Either too much joy or too much sadness can make someone a great musician..

thanks for the clip.. you are fantastic.

  • Thanks for answer me, my english is bad, im from ecuador. I think you really really play good.

  • @17silence Your english is good enough to understand what you mean:) I'm also not a native speaker, I'm from poland.

  • you should show your face. good work my friend. this is nly my opinion i play guitar too

  • @17silence hey, my face is no secret:) You can see it in most of my videos, but this is not the most important part of these videos, right?

  • Nice arpeggio, its arpeggio, right (the way he is playing)

  • well i want to learn playing guitar and i think to try this i allready can play godsmack I stand alone and i am sick of it and i think to learn this beautiful piece ;) i take any advices cuz i am beginner and i won't leave the guitar until i learn it :)

  • beautiful i was wondering im going to start playing guitar do you think this is a good beginner song for me ... i mean i know its not an official guitar piece but it sounds very nice

  • @proguy5920 hey if you really want to play guitar, don't start with sth like this because you'll soon become discouraged. If you want to play classical music on guitar, find yourself a teacher that will lead you.

  • @Leto1988 i actually know how to read notes and know a few basics from when i was a kid but now i actually wana give it a try

  • @Leto1988 actually its pretty awesome lol im learning pretty fast

  • awww this is so sad.. beethoven was a very sad person -___-

  • on guitar... the best i've heard well done!!

  • nice

  • anyone know where i can find sheet music for this?

  • Finally somone playing it right. best one ive heard

  • I feel ya, cool!

  • bravoooo!!!!!

  • the best guitar ive ever played. the rg is versitile. i play metal. then i turn off the dist add some reverb and comp. adjust the tone done a little. and i have a perfect jazz sound. and thats only the neck pickup.

  • I think you did a fine job,You are playing it on an electric, wich changes the approach

completely! As far as dynamics go.You respected the piece, and I think you and everybody else are being way too critical of this video.I mean look at some of these people butchering the piece on here, and who knows what for.You can tell, you have a great ear,and a nice touch.Keep up the great work!

  • @joe102769 hey, thanks for your kind words but what makes you thinking that I care about those critical comments:) in many cases they're right, but whatever? I try at least, and if this time it's not so good, i'll try better next time:) this video is in the past already, and i don't care, I care about my recent videos I make which are much more let's say 'professional' than this one, but not that popular.

  • @Leto1988

    i agree completely.... well done

  • @joe102769 i agree with this man his message is approved by me if you decide to coment back at this guy your only makeing fun of yourself now.

  • @theguymakeinfunofyou ur kinda like 5 yo who just lost his shovel

  • @PowerMug1910 you are perty shitty at making fun of the guy makeing fun of you your like 5 yo who just lost his shovel ooh boo hoo your jokes are softer than huggys get some new material bitch.

  • @theguymakeinfunofyou lol ur pritty lame at thinking ... get a life

  • I loved it. I thought your performance was amazing. Although a little tense, you played very true Beethoven's original.

  • woow men good cover i love this song =) hey where download the tabs ? :/

  • Even though some people say here you are not playing with emotion I think that your playing was very good and you nailed Moonlight Sonata almost perfectly...

  • man I love this song

  • I agree with the lack of emotion, but I will watch your second recording before I comment further.

  • lolo i thought u were a chick

  • i love you :D

  • Brawooo i udało zagrać na gitarze.

  • Yes, but to folk like me who love music but can't play a note you are a star. I take my hat off to you.

  • ye... You've played it ... from the begining to the end - but you have just played it, there are no emotions in it at all, the accents are totally not emotional. You played it very stiff. And it sound like a march - note after note. Bum Bum Bum Bum Bum - chill and start playing with emotions - no offence

  • @PowerMug1910 No offence because you're absolutely right:) I'm not too proud of this video, this was one of my first ones and i was nervous while recording it, plus it was too soon to record it. I knew it, I mean, i remembered it, but didn't feel it at that time. Even the second recording, I couldn't stay calm and let my emotions flow, but believe me, after two years of playing this track, now, when I finish playing it I am completely exhausted... This thing grow into me.

  • @Leto1988 :-) ow ok :-p just like Ive thouhght ('bout that it was to soon to record it) anyway I saw some of Your other vids and ye some are good :p

  • @Leto1988 tat how i feel with some songs some one understands

  • @Leto1988 Dude i "favorited" this, you rock! Sure there were a few mistakes here and there but what matters is that you tried. And you played it pretty good if this video's considered as a "try", in comparison with the other guitarist on youtube that "try" to play this, yours was awesome. Keep it up, you're almost there.

    -John, with much respect.

  • @BLStribute You are absolutely right, and I thank you for that! I guess the point is that we should always try better:) I recommend you to watch my nevest version of this piece.

  • @Leto1988 Glad you agree. Also, already did, favorited that as well.... hehe... rock on!

    -John.

  • @PowerMug1910

but its the wyaz its played in original no ?

i watched pro guitarist doing this and their isnt much more difference...

  • @nikumuMINA not really, no. If You saw some pros doing it without emotion and played like a march then a) there werent pro or b) u got no musican hearing skills. This is sonata. SONATA. It should be played with heart ! write moonlight sonata click 1st link with Beethoven on it - it should be like that. with heart. but ye he was nervous and it was to soon for him to record it like he said

  • @nikumuMINA "Tim Hall plays The Moonlight Sonata on guitar " check the melody - how soft its played and how much heart its in it - every acent is hearable, you can see how its wrote note by note

  • @PowerMug1910

its obvious that he ahsnt been playing this tune for a very long time. indeed there isnt much emotion, but he isnt there yet.

grats on the video keep practice is what i can say.

  • @PowerMug1910 you have no emotion or you would FEEL the music not listen

  • @theguymakeinfunofyou get lost..

  • this is ibanez rg 370dx?

  • @rcbpgpg yes it is

  • @Leto1988 haha.. i have the same guitar.. now i'm going to buy one Tagima K2.. there's only in brazil hehe.. see that you're another owl.. 5h A.M. haha

  • wow!!! so beautiful n it's my first time seeing someone play it on electric guitar...great job

  • es casi casi ala que se escucha en la peli de crepusculo pero no llega = tocas fantastico te felicito!

  • whats she doing out of the kitchen?

  • @yoyoyodaman93yo mah bad i thought this was a woman

  • if beethoven saw this he would think: Ha, youngsters, always doing it there way.

love ur version the most of all moonlight sonata on the guitar

  • @chronotyphoon and I love your comment the most :)

  • gotta use a capo on 4th too. love C standard. Even tuned my accoustics including my 12 in C standard.

  • Goooooooooooooddddd... man!!... i try to play that sonata, but y can´t..

  • Sick RG man. Amazing cover :)

  • Anyone who decides there going to troll this can shove it up their arse i went from listening to vaders version of raining blood to this and i love it afterall classical is the music of inspiration.

  • is there a tab to this somewhere?

  • @hamboner2005 Last time I've seen it on my hard drive :)

  • really good! my respects

  • what happens if you slot in a bit from the theme from the godfather inside?

  • ibanez, :O

  • awesome guitar

  • wow.

  • so so nice i like to hear that c:

  • Very nice man.

  • Is the finger style the only way to play this?

  • well the only way to play the melody and bass, but you can play just the melody with your pick, but it won't be even half as good

  • Yeah i know. I guess i'll have to throw the pick and start to practice :)

  • @grafdelafergrafdelaf

The fingerstyle version you'll see of this is a way to incorporate both the treble and bass staffs of a piano's musical notation.

You can play either the bass or treble portion separately as a bass line or a lead guitar line, which allows you a lot more freedom to sauce it up if you want to improv/jazz around with it.

  • @grafdelafergrafdelaf you can play a bass and melody with pick too, but its a complicated technique

  • @NOXLT And how am i supposed to play 2 strings at once with the pick?

  • @NOXLT well the thumb and the pointing finger hold the pick as you know, and the other three fingers are free. Ofcourse you dont use your little finger but well you can pick a string and play a string with your free two fingers, try it

  • hey i would love to play this song and i cant find the tabs anywhere so i was asking if you could show us the tabs for the song plz????? a website? or another video?

  • Very nice

Be nice to play that good

  • why the capo?

  • just for the key's sake.

  • incredible, congratulations man

  • Dude that's really good!

Do you maybe have a tab for the song???

    I'd really apreciate it.

  • Haha well ur welcome:) this was my favorite classical piece and you just made it all the better!!!

Also if I die of old age, I still got a long way to go, I'm only 16 -_- ...but you be doing me a favor so I should say thank You:)

  • I'm 22 so you'll never know who to whom is going to do 'a funeral favor', I'm just saying... ;-)

  • Hopefully we can both live long happy lives and not die so soon, we're only 6 years apart who knows which one will pass away before the other? Haha I just love the way u play, it's beautiful:)

  • U should play this @ my funeral:)

  • OMG... I don't know if I should say 'thank you' or what :)

  • lol your comment is ironically funny

  • awesome :D

  • la raja loco

    5/5

  • круто чувак!!!!!!!!!!

  • is that a 7 string ibanez

  • no it's standard. I think that it's easy to count the strings...

  • @Leto1988 ya thanks

  • @ TheKillian4266

    No, It's an 8-string bass

  • what ever im rich and u suck balls

  • bardzo dobre ... 5 / 5

  • .i always felt playing this song on guitar is 10 times more difficult than playing on piano..since this song has both left and right hand part of piano played with just the right hand of the guitar..

  • guess who's watching it again :DD <3x10^1000 (a hell of a lot of hearts XD... yay heart math XD)

  • that was freakin sweet!

  • its the best of what I heard in youtube ..about moonlight sonata

  • outstanding i love hearing this on the guitar

  • bardzo fajnie :) ale uważam, że troszkę za mało feelingu, tak czy inaczej jest git :)

  • @Brzuch

thx, sprawdź drugą wersję, jest w linku w opisie.

  • Hey! You're polish ^_^ Bardzo ladnie grasz ^^

  • sounds nice.... I have the very same guitar... jajaj

  • how may frets sose that ibenez haves

  • @flubberflubby bout 26 or 28 i think :L

  • ok cool

  • Po prostu... niesamowite...

  • NICE job! good tempo and feel there!

  • how can you remember all the song? its very long , and too much parts!

  • it took some time to learn but it's not like trying to memorize everything. It grows in you and after some time it just flows ;)

  • How can you remember walking to your local cinema? It's just about memorising a sequence of small steps

  • tas chistoso?

  • duok tabus

  • Sexy Ibanez, well played

  • well played i thought

  • i have to do this song to audition for this school i'm getting in, and was just wondering if you just droped to Am?

  • Good job -^.^- b

  • profound beauty.

  • It's no the most easy to play ....great job.

  • sos una genia, espero q sepas español... kiss

  • Nice guitar! I have the same one except it's a white body with black inlays and a maple fretboard.

  • nobody cares

  • What's your problem?, fenderkid6? I was just saying that I had almost the same one...

  • zajebiste :)

  • So did you play it in Am with the capo in C#?

  • exactly :)

  • Ok, that's what I will do. I learned the song in Am without realizing it :D

  • make a video and spread it :)

  • fajnie :) Pozdro. :)

  • Hmm I thought this was more of a classical guitar song, but I guess I was wrong. Sounds good on electric to.

  • very nice indeed :D you do a fantastic job! i'd like to learn how to play this...

  • Nice! You can loose the capo, detune guitar to D#G#C#F#A#D# and than play in C# minor (like you, and the original), that way it sounds better!

You grab C#minor just like D minor in standard tuning!

  • grasz super ;) masz do tego taby?

  • flawless, amazing, loved it, lol thats not a guitar u see much playing but very acceptable.

  • please send tabs

  • yohasakura2009 Спасибо. поржал ))))

  • tocas bieen creo que es una buena interpretacion de guitarra tiene el sonido y el sentido se escucha muy profundo se nota que querias tocar aunque te falta algo aun....

    saludos

  • такие батареи только в России делают

  • good job

  • Sounds good on the RG

  • great, you have the tabs.

    you play EXCELENT

  • not bad man! thats good work

  • Man, ur awesome. Can u get me the tabs ur playing , cuz i always find tabs , but they´re not the same as used by the others player´s videos. The most alike was yours, but still not the same tabs ive got. Thank You

  • how does capoing the frets change the notes?

  • the same as lunamoonshadows said. When in normal tunning your open string notes are E A D G H E, when you place capo on a certain fret, as in this video - fourth you have G# C# F# H D# G# :)

you can play the same chord patterns as in normal, but these are different chords, for example - normal Am here is C#m

  • sorry, instead H i should say B, but this is different in my country.

  • now can you play it like michael romeo?! awsome work there

  • No I can't do this like him:D hehe, and actually I don't care, his way better than me, I don't care too much of speed, but sound and melody.

  • Comment removed

  • how exactly does a capo work...does it make it so you don't have to tune up higher?

  • It changes the pitch of the strings, meaning that you can play in higher keys using the same fingerings.

  • yes, it's the same as doing a barre, only it doesn't change throughout the track:P

  • Interesujace wykonanie.

  • its great you are good! 5 stars

  • I love the tone of your guitar. And I appreciate that there isn't a lot of background noise in the video. That can totally destroy a good instrument session. Anyway, the way you play Moonlight Sonata and the sound of your guitar is my favorite so far out of all of the guitar videos I've been watching tonight. Cheers!

  • Glad to hear that! Check also the new version, maybe the sound isn't that great but it's played better.
