Navajo nation is so corrupt-many "leaders" sold one sided contracts to businesses for pennies on the dollar. many "leaders" to this day cannot read or write english let alone understand a business contract. Many past navajo "chairmen" or "presidents" in the 1960s to 1980s signed these contracts for pennies on the dollar and KICKBACKS with their eyes wide open-it benefited a few natives but mostly big cities needing electricity. If the U.S. gov. needs Uranium on land any where in the U.S.-it will get mined. No permission will be asked for and Americans/natives will get in line for the jobs. McCain has helped natives over and over. Casinos on navajo land are generating money and jobs for natives, after taxes for the benefit of non-natives in the states of Arizona and New Mexico. Land was not used as collateral but through tribal money. Uranium spill was in Pinedale N.M. not Sanders, AZ. Two sides to every story people.
