33' is the perfect size for a multiband vertical on bands 15 meters through 40. 75 meters you'll need to add a bit of inductance to lengthen it electrically. On 15 meters 33' acts as a 5/8th wave, 20 meters it's a full half wave, and 40 meters it's a full quarter wave.
If you insist on a CB antenna to get on the amateur bands on the cheap, then you could do a lot worse than a Sirio 827. 5/8 wave and 7.5 db gain. Will work 10.11.12.15.17m & the others with a tuner at reduced performance. Better than a G5RV approx £80
Not if installed correctly with proper radio and antenna grounding. Front end overload to nearby electronic devices can be reduced even further by adding a properly installed low-pass filter, same as any other antenna installation. If you don't understand these very basic radio concepts (grounding, filters, etc), ask a ham radio friend who can offer guidence.
The Solarcon A99 (new name for Antron-99) will load up well (acceptable SWR) between roughly 26-30MHz (the 10-meter band & more) without a separate tuner. That coverage, as you state, can be extended even further (below 26MHz) with a separate antenna tuner. I've even seen the Solarcon A99 modified to work within the 6-meter band without a separate antenna tuner. -W5NET

offroadaznett is right. a99 is just a bit of wire in a tube £5 worth. a cheap 5/8 silver rod is better and £60 cheaper!!!

Which frequence/channel do you stay on most of the time. I use the Antron 99 as well. It is a great antenna.
