i suggest that those people who experienced traumatic inccidents or witnessed a love one passed on, to treat this song as a rememberance to the deads. GONE ARE GONE, WHATS LEFT ARE THOSE THAT ARE YET TO BE APPRECIATED. try treating others better and try forgeting emotional heart-wrenching events though its hard but we must remember that thats the best gift for the dead.

the truly is emotional and i have to agree to that. However. i believe everyone cried not because of this song but because your grandfather was the most respectable person and he serves as a leader to the family. No one would possibly forget him. I doubt everyone would cry after listening to this song. Somethings are just like that. A forever goodbye is just that emotional. Songs like this are just some sort of rememberance to the gones. Your heart is the sole object that fools you.

This song is so sad. It was used on my uncle's funeral. It was played when they lowered the coffin in the ground. Everyone was in tears. It was the saddest day I've ever seen. One guy was so upset that he had to take off his sunglasses to let the tears flow. Kenny G has some really emotional songs and this is one of them. I will remember how this song was able to make everybody cry that day, as nearly 100% of us were crying out tears. It was the saddest funeral I've ever been to.

This song is truly magnificent, the emotion behind it is immense. I can remember not being able to sleep at night whilst on holiday one year, my mum then put this track on and I dosed off almost instantly. It still works to this day. Utterly Brilliant!
