I love Kynt. I've met him a few times at concert events around Louisville and he is gracious and so nice and amazing. Love the two very very much.

Heh. Just another media ploy, exploiting the different, though they are most likely exploiting themselves for the fame as well. Whether they are all that interesting or not, because their "wierd" they get plenty of air time. Think of how much more face time they are getting compaired with how many teams are kicked off the show. There are already above 12 seasons, that's plenty and yet these two are recognized why?

they got airtime for many reasons...of course their aesthetic played into it but they also had FUNNY and GIVING personalities. they outshown the entire cast and have moved on to bigger and better things while the rest of the Amazing Race 12 cast has......well......sucked

i personally think TK n Rachel where the best overall, kynt is a bit full of himself, he like strives to show how truly different he is.

i mean thats fine, just not my cup of tea :D

however, vyxsin is just super sweet and nice

It's not a fad for these two. I'm from Louisville and I've been in the goth scene for several years and they have always been just as they are now! Louisville is so proud of them! They are the nicest people you'll ever meet!

I am an older person, and these two were my favourites ever on TAR. Vyx' hair is superb. I have seen really badly done coloured hair, but hers looks excellent. They were fun, intelligent and fair.

I have known people for 30 years that were "goth" but got over it as they grew up. Maybe, you never will change. Which is good. I will never stop loving "punk" rock. Are Christian Death considered "goth" still? How about 45 Grave??? Bauhaus??? I have seen all those bands a long time ago...I thought they were considered "goth" back then.

Goth is not a fad unless you are speaking of teenage metalheads that don't know Marylin Manson is, in fact, not goth. Since they never actually are part of the subculture, but rather the metalhead style often mistaken as goth, and often turn to different styles when they outgrow industrial metal, they never really are gothic at all, although some do find their way.

It depends on the individual. It depends on the sub-style of the sub-culture. Trad goths would say those are the only true goth bands, while others accept all kinds of music that is inspired by these bands, and newer electronic music, like darkwave. Most people think goth means Marylin Manson and confuse the industrial metalheads [rivetheads] with goths... but their views are different, with different philosophies that accompany. I'm sure you know this all.
