Amazingly beautiful. I´m counting the days now to bring my appliance to an end to become a pilot for Lufthansa. Next Summer, after my graduation, I will have to pass the second assessment test out of two. Who knows, where I will sit just in three years then...

If I would have a billion Euro I would give it entirely away if they would let me fulfill my dream to fly for Lufthansa. I would do anything for it!

Awesome video Simon. Any idea what they were doing there? It doesn't seem like they were on the ground that long. I miss seeing MD-11's. I used to play with the FedEx styrofoam MD's when I was a kid, and told my parents I would fly a real one someday. Too bad they never got rid of their terrible reputation.

I'm surprised that World Airways is still in business. I flew them in 1986 from Frankfurt to NY and it was the worst flight of my life. The 707 aircraft was in bad shape and the plane suddenly started to plunge and roll over the Atlantic. The captain was yelling over the PA system and we thought the plane was going to crash.

I'm a huge fan of the L-1011s and the DC-10s, I used to fly on them a lot during the 80s and early 90s between Portugal and Brazil. Unfortunately, I never got to fly on the MD-11, but it still one of my favourite airliners! Sadly they're all disappearing.

Thanks for the upload! It remind me my first time flying: it was in a Vasp MD-11, a LONG time ago. Say... 1.997 if I am correct. I dunno much about a lot of other planes but I can tell that i prefer the MD-11 instead of the 767-200.
