Because chop blocks can't tear ACL's and risk potentially career ending injuries. Players that do that on purpose are trash and should never be allowed to play football again. This isn't about Bama or Auburn, it's about discipline. If you intentionally aim for the knees in an attempt to injure someone, then you're little more than a THUG, and should be treated as such.

Well show me where we lost to a bad team....UF possibly the national champions, Utes beat 4 top 25 opponents. Thats the thing we weren't bad, just not great. The difference between my team and yours is that we were supposed to be one of the worst in the west, and Auburn was supposed to be the top dog...but they messed that one up pretty bad. Ryan Pugh #50 is the same punk who took out the Clemson D-lineman last year in the bowl game. I dont see why the NCAA doesnt do something about this. This is cheating and can cause serious injury. You get punished for cheating off the field, why not get it when your on the field. This is terrible and it wouldnt hurt my feelings one bit if they never let him play another down in his career. Terrible sportsmanship and lack of class.
