@icurren is good but cedar point is better. cedar point seems smaller. six flags magic mountain though is a more alternative roller coaster destination, with x and Goliath, and their flying coaster, and superman launch tower, but isn't known for taking care of their rides. they have 18 coasters but only 14-15 are open during the season since they don't take care of their rides. where as cedar point has 16-17 open the season. cedar point is more reliable and dependable. than six flags mm.

They should make a Giga coaster at kings island so the four cedar fair parks with the most coasters( Cedar fair, kings island, Canada's wonderland, and kings dominion) will all have Giga coasters. Make it the same height as Intimidator 305 so it goes in order for for the theme parks. What I mean is that the park with the most coasters, cedar point, has the tallest Giga coaster. Canada's wonderland has the second most coasters and the second tallest. Kings dominion and kings island have the

If I could be any where right now, I would be at cedar point. But there are other good theme parks like six flags magic mountain and Disney, but I would still go here cause it made to firsts in height out of four, mega and giga. @Knexcoasters58 My honest opinion is that Six Flags Magic Mountain has more thrilling roller coasters. Magic Mountain also is very beautiful... Everywhere you look, there are huge trees, and that helps to make rides like Revolution amazing, like speeding through a forest! Cedar Fair parks tend to chop down natural landscaping in favor of rides, and buildings. Both parks have amazing roller coasters, but Magic Mountain has better ones. That's my honest opinion. i'm a noob here but your opinions are greatly appreciated. i love those violent roller coasters i love the adrenaline. i used to live in California and loved going magic mountain, but then i moved to Nebraska and the closest theme park is worlds of fun and it didn't really satisfy. i recently heard about cedar point from some friends saying it was amazing. my question is... is worth the twelve hour drive? because worlds of fun wasn't worth the 5 hours.

@CoreyPerrySucks I would say that DisneyWorld and Universal Studios, Orlando are better than Cedar Point. Not to detract anything from it (it's a great amusement park) but it has little to no theming, rides that need to be refurbished (mean streak) and mediocre food. Granted, it has the beat ride selection out of any park in the world, but when you compare it's overall experience to that of Disney or Universal, it falls a little short.

The reason Cedar Point and Kings Island became 2 of the world's best amusement parks is because they were in constant competition with each other. Each year both parks were at war with one another trying to be the best. Now that they are owned by the same company, improvements will probably be a lot less frequent now.
