It's a messy situation, but it's all the way over there. It has nothing to do with us, or Ignatieff, so stop trying to use it as ammunition to try to smear it on him.

We have our own problems. If they want to be thick headed over there, that's their problem.

Deficit of $40 billion because of Harper. Great. Say what you want about the Liberals and Adscam, that's nothing compared to how Harper's been wrecking the economy. With the Liberals, we had a surplus - now we're in the red.

Exactly. And how has the GST cut helped anything? It ended up taking revenue away. The Cons are abusive to any security and assets the Liberals build. Back and forth it goes. Construct, create, build... abuse, use, destruct... round and round it goes.

the GST cut was meant to decrease prices and stimulate demand. but it's so insignifant compared to other demand determinants that it the benefit, if there was any, is totally insignifant. Big business may have profited somewhat from this as you mention, small business most certainly didn't win anything at all.

you might investigate which federal party brought us high deficit finance, in the first place. Do you really believe Ignatieff will desist from HIGH federal spending?
