For those of you who don't know, this isn't an anime. It's a game (and particularly an eroge if I remember correctly). However, an anime was made based on this game.

The song is Suna no Shiro by Nakahara Ryou - It was re-released on a cd in December last year, so if you're lucky, you might be able to find it.

As for the opening, it's epic. Incredible animations and a fantastic song makes it well worth saving to your favorites, and those of you who doesn't like it doesn't know true quality.
