hmm ... I remember we were traveling with bus about 5 min from Jastrebarsko. We were passing by Erdödy Park. It was filmed under a small hill by the spring.
2. his throwing technique is awful, there is no way he is a trained thrower.
This is the best example how the media distorts the perception of body image, if you go and look at top throwers at the Olympics, they dont have abs. the training and dietart regimen they take dont allow their body fat to go that low.
When it comes to crass commercialism (which of course this is), "good enough" is NEVER good enough. You have to use sex appeal, not realism, in commercials.
and you think using a real athlete would make a commercial less appealing, sexually or any other way? why do they pay Yao Ming to drink pepsi in China? This commercial only reflects the effeminate taste of its makers, who might as well also direct a D&G underwear show.
I can understand how an American finds it entertaining but it is also disturbing to others, Greeks in this case. In this light, Americans disgust me. By the same argument, it would be okay for others to involve U.S. monuments in satirical commercials as well. Ditto to the Burger King Spicy Chicken Crisp - the chicken destroying the temple.
On 26 September 1687 an Ottoman ammunition dump inside the building was ignited by Venetian bombardment. The resulting explosion severely damaged the Parthenon and its sculptures.
@reponerd1207 The Parthenon, Temple to the Goddess Athena, on the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. There is, incidentally, a full scale replica in Century Park, Nashville, TN. complete with statue of Athena.
I love this commericial. that guys body. yes

Awful form. But hey, I guess it had some serious power on it.

corny video, (eyes rolling)
1. this is a CK model, not a thrower's physique.

Get over it. They used him precisely because his body looks so good, not because he's an athlete. He's a MODEL, after all.

what? A real athlete wont look good enough for throwing a disc on TV?

it's not roman pantheon ... this is parthenon in Acropolis (Athens).
Nobody knows why that building is devastated, so this commercial was trying to create a myth (^^,)
