@dakeller1 There are a lot of these energy retail pyramid schemes. They cheat is various ways. Most common is to take a lot of fee upfront in the name of membership, training, setting-up website/business etc. Then you realize that the profit is so negligible that you can't even recover the fee and your time and effort is for free. And that is if you are lucky to have a sale at all because people have become cognizant of these schemes and won't buy from you. continued....
@dakeller1 Second trick is to just get customers in the pretext of members. And no harm in becoming a customer if you don't mind contracts with early termination fee and rate increases without any reason and still no option to come out of the contract.
I am a Ignite Associate and I have been having alot more trouble cause of Bernie Maddoff eversince he has been in the NEWS our Business has been so hard to do how do we get people to not see that and still be our customer
Honestly? You are going to have to take your team to something completely different. Marketing always says there is no such thing as bad publicity. Well sometimes it really can be. Get out, and try something different. It's obvious he and Enron have sullied energy de-regulation. You either have to wait it out until everyone forgets Bernie, or switch to something different.
Thanks for posting this! I have been in this awesome company over a year, it really works! And is such a wonderful way to help people save & make extra money!!! Good luck to you!
