  • U can just walk in and tour yourself it's post to b a maze they use 4 halloween, it's very very scary I went so if u go u might wanna go with a group of people!

  • Can you go into this place with just a couple people? Or does it have to be a tour with a guide and stuff?

  • @RAMpage1128 you have to take a tour.

  • @RAMpage1128 only 1 tour group is allowed there, also

  • well i went last night and i got a whole disembodied firgure u saw the women that got hung theirs face and up chest

  • btw i have a real ghost photo on my page i took in Savannah GA about 3 years ago..there is a link under the video to look at war generals uniforms to compare to the ghost in the pic. it IS REAL :)

  • I did feel something there. DUST doesn't have a destination.Nice catch:)

I went last year and had a heavy feeling like something was pushing down on my shoulders then when we went up stairs to a room i walked passed everyone and straight to the window and just starred out then when the guy called everyone around totell about a woman who stands at that window people were taking pics and i could see a lot of people looking at me like omg..

  • Horror novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • My husband and I went to Charleston this weekend. We went on the tour of the old jail, and I wasn't convinced. The only thing that seemed strange to me is one of the rooms upstairs used to hold prisoners was rather warm. Then once we went to the basement it was very cold. The rest of the building was comfortable, but I don't think it's worth the money although we enjoyed doing it.

  • ahhh heck. not scared

  • im going on it tuesday i cant wait to go!!

  • was that on the ghost tour? i went on the 4th and some lady got held down and then some kid took a pic of it and there was a freakin' man standing beside her and was ppushing down on her. and last year on a feild trip we spent thte nite in the charlston aqueraim and the next morning we went by the grave yard and i took a pic and there was a ghost crying over the grave of a civil war soilder

  • I went through the tour in 2008, It was really creepy,I felt something tug at my hair.. on the side where no one was, whatever you do, don't get close to the hanging site..

  • Yeah I'm pretty sure dust doesn't hesitate for a full second then turn around.

  • i don't think so, it looks like a person walking. looks weird..

  • i went to the tour three days ago. nothing showed up in pics, and nothign else really happened. it was a creepy place though, i must say. and there were bats flying around outside EVERYWHERE!

  • that looked like a bat. You can see it fly through the doorway. your camera's ISO is up so high that it is too noisy to see fine detail. still, it is a very creepy place though.

  • yeah I saw those too, they were flying all around

  • Oh yeah...I see him on the wall. And, those orbs are the real deal....

  • I don't see what's so scary. If you're referring to the "orb" then it's dust or a bug. I've been in that jail many times. My stepdad was a tour guide for Bulldog Tours and I've been on his tours. I've taken so many pictures of the interior and exterior and have gotten hundreds of "orbs" which are dust particles and humidity. We've also gotten some cool pictures that can't really be explained, my stepdad has had his own experiences with doors slamming, etc. But this doesn't impress me.

  • I toured the jail on sat.. For the first time ever, I was able to see orbs w/ my naked eye, not just the get them on camera, ,just as they are on this video. My daughter and I both also experienced temp changes and I had a "breathtaking" experience with an "entity" which was witnessed by our entire "tour group" so, I have to say that I am glad you caught yours on video and can vouch for the validity that there is def paranormal activity in the jail... awesome place for thrill seekers!!!

  • Its dust duh!!!!!!

  • if i could see a tiny dust particle yes i would say dust. i was pointing the camera in the dark room and saw this above the camera screen. bugs don't vanish into the wall either.

  • @ianphop DUST fly every where and dont disapear into then air. it was an orbe light of lavinia fisher or her husband john fisher

  • I'd wanted to go tour the jail, and a few other places (one whose owner I met while shopping) when I was down there in 2005.

But my then-girlfriend and her mother were too holy-roller to chance it.

  • i have taken the tour i along with my wife were lucky enough to do some hunting with patrick burns from haunting evidence till bout 3-4 AM and my wife was actually choked her wile filming. she as well as one of the film crew had to leave the jail until we finished . i was doing the filming for patrick burns and i can tell you from personal experience that jail IS haunted.

  • Is that all a "ghost" can muster? I've been there; it's a creepy place, of historical importance and lots of awful things happened there, but haunted? No. It's just your imagination, runnin' away with you...

  • i saw something fly throught the air... but i also saw the wall it looked like a face screaming or something like that... im sorry i see images in just about everything...

  • I saw that too. CREEPY!

  • Dust!!!!!!!!!!

  • I assure you it isn't dust.

    Its a bug! :-P

    -=The Prynce

  • ive been there and they slam the door on you and lock you in one of the cell blocks

  • My friend caught an orb like this on her camera in the jail while we were on the tour. Also, the camera of another girl who was on the tour quit working while in the building. It is one spooky place, that's for sure!

  • I was on a tour there this summer we were just leaving a room and I was last one out when I heard this heavy scrapping come from behind me. I know that place is haunted it just feels evil.

  • what you caught there was a classic ORB, bravo.

  • I am a Charleston native and just recently took the tour of the jail. On the second floor, I smelled the sweet smell of pipe tobacco, and it was about 30 seconds later that she mentioned the name of a former jailer by the name of Cedric who is deemed one of the evil entities on the site. Supposedly, when you smell that scent, then Cedric is present in the room. I'm a firm believer in the Charleston ghost stories.

  • if you smell sweet weed in charleston its me lol booooooo!

  • Totally agree - the Jail IS haunted.

  • I just did the tour...it is awesome!! Totally creepy video!! Love it!

  • I saw a bug

  • I agree, the Old City Jail in Charleston IS haunted!! I've been on the tour several times and it can be spooky. Zero hokey factor - kind of a history tour mixed w/ some ghost stories. Very cool. HauntedJailTour . com .

  • that place is sooo haunted!

  • I've been there, never really seen anything but my friend said something screamed in his ear

  • You caught a picture of some paint missing on a wall...

  • That's not what this clip is about. The wall isn't what was I was talking about....it's the white thing that flies through and then disappears
