I've got that record too! I have an LP too with a song on it I've never heard before or since. It's called 'Joker Man' but it sounds like another band, don't know how it ended up on the record. I think it's really hard to get vinyl albums. I was looking for Ogdens but it's really rare.
Hello pbstratocaster - I've got it too - weren't they great? Have listened to them since they started - still miss Steve - saw him in 1965 - I was 15 - now 58 and still hunting down Steve and The Small Faces. Irreplaceable. Alison
Hi mini. Its great. Im also into that stuff playing live. I dont recall ever to have seen Small faces live, though I did go as very young to a various clubs where they performed regularly.

What a groovin track! Anyone know where one could get their hands on one of those extended penny collar shirts these days?

One gem after another. Incredible to think they were only around three years. And that the youngest had only just turned 20 when they broke up.

those are some huge collars. I've heard of the "3 finger mod collar" but I think I can fit both of my hands in one of those.

This one's for Bonnie...Steve wrote this about us...
"you ought to see me move when it comes to romancing..."

An incredible SF performance, and one of Steve's best vocals.

One of the best and wildest Small faces' track.

I fully agree DZ. I have a trio Hendrix style, and we have this piece on our repertoire.
It fits even trio without organ.
Leaves a lot of room for the guitar he he he .

@pbstratocaster Do you have a tab of this song? If not, could you make one, or like a video to teach me how to play this song on guitar?

Wonderful track this. Ahead of its time. Marriott in great form. Bon Scott (original AC/DC lead singer) covered it in an early band of his.
Don't suppose anyone has it???
Please???

You're right, in fact My mind's eye appears here in a different version than the album "From the beggining" DECCA 1967.
