Linda was Felicia Gallant on Another World. She even wrote a book as the character Felicia Gallant called "Dreamweaver". I'd love to see ex-SNL-ers Jan Hooks and Nora Dunn do this. Late 80s/early 90s fashions were HORRIBLE. x
I'm well aware that Linda was Felicia on AW. I'm posting clips of the show with my other youtube account (I'm Edster73 in case you didn't notice).
I tried several times to post SNL skits of "Attitudes" but youtube has a block on anything SNL related. It simply will not go through. Sorry, but I did try. :(
This show always seemed like a SNL skit. They were serious and we watched only to laugh. The name ATTITUDES ... too much. They were like two escapees from the Junior League. Linda was on a soap, I think. Joy is funny in this.
*Attitudes* was one of my fave shows!! I remember this epi ~ part of the week long series showcasing comediennes. I think others that week included Rita Rudner and then little-known Rosie O'Donnell.
I also have the episode with Rosie O'Donnell but I haven't had time to convert it to mpg yet. In fact, I have many eps of this show, most of them with Dee Kelly and then later co-host Jerry Penacoli. I'll try my best to get them posted on youtube at some point, but for now, I'm on a "The View" kick... enjoy!
Squeee!! Thanks ~ that would be great. Most of the shows I watched were the ones with Dee but it was Linda Dano that cracked me up! I still remember when she got her hair extensions caught in rappelling ropes some 25 feet or so suspended over the studio.
I actually don't have that episode in particular, but I do have an appearance that both Linda & Dee made on DONAHUE where that clip was shown. They appeared along with other women talk show hosts (that was the theme for the hour) and they even showed a clip of Linda & Dee being parodied on "Saturday Night Live" (again, I have a few clips of that as well). When I find the time, they will definitely be posted.
Joy and Dee both have the same 80's poof in the front of their hair, lol
