  • This is so cool how you put it all together. Thank you for sharing.

  • In my view, a Mac software alone pays for itself and then to top it off the build quality of the machines is even more superb. Together, I think that they're perfectly priced and just overal the better choice.

  • I was just thinking how the video looked so clear. HD ROCKS! I love watching how you evolve. Your tips are the best. @MSEnthusiast

  • Lisa, 1.I would like to know if I have to pay monthly or for the year for SBI. 2. I want to know if I can do it in different language, 3. I'm an independent distributor of an existing BIG company and I want to know if I can sell those products 4. Besides money, -What do I need to start? What if I don't have any or little product to sell? If everything about writing an article, a story or knowledge information or something like that? Need help I'm a beginner on this. Thanks : )

  • Saw a new Sony Bloggie CM5 & PM5, which you can see yourself while you record. Pretty useful. Also, Here's a video (on my Facebook page),(By BBC Radio 1 Presenter Trevor Nelson Revealing 5 Top Secret Tips To Becoming An Online Video Marketing Superstar. THIS IS NOT TO BE MISSED. Enjoy

  • hey lisa i am new to website building and i want to create a site where members who will join can create their own pages can i do this?

  • Loved the video. You seem to always cover all the bases, Lisa.

  • I agree about using a mac to create videos. My husband thought I was crazy to get a MAC Laptop! I love it. I bought it just for my new website on recommendation from tech savvy friends. The video I created recently is with imovie and I used the jungles in their folder to go along with video. not bad for 1st try ;) I didn't know I could create my own sound with garage band, that's awesome! BTW, I use the SONY Bloggie and it rocks! small, 1 button record, touch screen, pics & tri-pod is must!

  • Hi Lisa this isnt meant to start a huge war BUT macs do have viruses and as a mac owner you should be aware of that granted there arent many but as macs become more popular they are popping up. Enjoy your macbook.

  • no, lisa, i like crappy 480p resolution better. ;)

  • Yes, this video is so much clearer than the others that you have made. I can tell the difference. Thanks for this video. It helped to answer many of my questions.

  • after learning imovie and garage band. which only takes like a week to get proficient. I'm guessing you put those effects and music in, edited, in a day or less.

  • mac is the shiznit

  • This is exactly what I needed to know right now. I am 63 yrs old and live in the Missouri Ozarks area. Very few families even have a computer, much less want to get an online presence. However, there are enough older people who do want to at least make contact with their children and grandchildren that I think I can make a modest living teaching them how to set up a blog, twitter, and facebook. I want to make videos like you do but know nothing about it.

  • Amen I love my mac!!!!!!! One of my best purchases ever!!!

  • Great Job

    LO

  • Lisa, you are so talented!

  • hello may you please make a video about ptc sites such as db-bux.com and others that pay per click plzplzplzplz i would really appreciate it!!!

    p.s Just think about it!!!

  • haha Your very easy to listen to, and jesus! WHAT SIZE IS THAT PC SCREEN BEHIND YOU!???

be great for a gammer :P

  • We don't deserve Lisa in HD.

  • One more thing...

Only one bit of advice: lighting. I've gone to Wal-mart to pick up two "Daylight" rated (5500K) lightlbulbs $5 each and two Bayco clamp lights $7 to hold them in then attached them to whatever is handy nearby (a chair, filing cabinet, etc.) & angled them right and left on me...made a HUGE difference.

There's just NEVER enough lighting with consumer camcorders :( although Sony's better than most. Enjoy your new adventures in editing! :) Deborah

  • I also had a similar experience & then switched to a Mac with iMovie & Garageband and have never looked back! I'm sure everyone has their own opinion, bur for ease of use "out of the box" it's been a Godsend. It's built for fast editing of web video and that's you, soooo... :)

  • You were doing so well until you stated that people NEED to use Macs if they wanna be serious about multi-media, video and music production on the web. And then you went on to say that the free software you get with a Mac is better than anything you can get for Windows.

Why oh why did you have to go there and stoop to that level? It's fine if you really believe the Mac hype, but I hope you never say those things in a video again because they are not true. Not even slightly true.

    ~Vince

  • Hey Lisa I love your videos. I'm 14 and already into making money with adsense, it's quite a good income for me right now, and guess what? It all started when I bought a mac, that thing is amazing!

  • will you be my girlfriend?

  • Another GREAT video Lisa, please respond to my youtube friend request. I Cant send you my question.

  • First and foremost I love all your videos. I'm into Affiliate marketing and I use a lot of your videos for knowledge and inspiration when I feel like giving up. I'm currently self-teaching myself everything involving making a online income. I couldn't help but notice that u didn't have a wedding ring on. I'm so in love with your personality. I know that u make your own money but, when I am successful in this business I would love to take u to Dubai if u haven't been their already. wait for me

  • im curious did you read all of those book on your shelf

  • you are right lisa. I tell people to by a mac over a pc all the time. Hey Lisa you will love screenflow for mac. I use it to make my videos. Also SoldierknowsBest uses screenflow for mac. It only cost $99.00

  • i love to read abt u n ur information, which is really very useful.

I want to block a single page from my website for a particular country... can u help me out?? Lisa

  • Cheap webcam HD logitech quickcam pro 9000

  • Love your advice. Did you get a macbook pro or imac?

    james samy

  • ha she has a book macbook for dummies

  • I'm Thinking about Inviting Mac into my "Mastering the Art of Communications" - Video Market System as well. Thanx Lisa~

  • Hi Lisa

Thanks for sharing...really loved the quality of the video. I enlarged it on my screen the full size and girl....you have nice skin lol that's how good the quality is! I'm so glad you mentioned Pinnacle because I was just getting ready to buy it! I don't have a Mac...I'm not getting one anytime soon, so what else is out there. I'm using Sony Vegas at the moment. I have a Sony HD 4.0 Mega Pixels with 120 GB It holds up to 50 Hrs. I want different software though....

    Warm Regards

    Debby

  • Very helpful, thanks

  • yess ur so right about the mac

  • great video Lisa

  • Hi Lisa, Get some lighting advice from a videographer. You need to have some fill lighting. The light shining on the front of you is casting shadows (when you move your hands etc.) Just an observation from an avid student of yours.

  • thanks for this video, I'm always curious as to what people use for their videos, I was wondering if you could elaborate on what you use for sound and lighting?

  • Lisa:

Love the new format. Excellent quality. Love the new do - too.

    Thanks for making this one.

    Regards,

    Bill

  • Lisa, how fast is your internet upload speed with which you upload hd videos?

  • Hi Lisa,

I like your channel and you have a natural and pleasant way about you But in this video I was waiting for the behind the scene "making of your videos" and I didn't get it. It was nice to see you use Sony and mac but "how" do you make the video?, shooting angle, scripting, actual uploading of the video to your iMovie software and some actual edits, a brief demo of iMovie maybe...just some thoughts from one movie maker to another. Keep up your great work!

    Ed

  • You are so right Lisa. Macs are the way to go!!

  • @lisa3876 I see your home work on the selves behind you,Great. I wish I would have found your videos before I made mistakes and got websites Im stuck with.Best thing is that maybe I can salvage them to be profitable in some way..thank you for teaching and shareing your knowlege on this IM.

  • Hey Lisa!

I have become a big fan! Thanks for all the info. I just finished my latest video on windows movie maker. The quality is ok but I agree with you about the Mac, I'm going that route as well.

  • I love my iMac and will never own another PC. Best thing is, I can still run Windows on it in addition to the Mac OS.

  • Hey Lisa !! Great Vid !! Oh and as a former employee of apple and there go to guy for all things windows... I can tell you that you are 100% right ! Here's the Skinny for those who don't know.. Yes, you will pay more for a mac but in the long run... it pays for itself ! No anti virus software to buy, Great quality programs are also available right away and.. They are ready to go right out the box... No drivers or any of that to download ! Oh and I like Garage Band too !! LOL ! Keep it up !!

  • Mac's arn't better then PC computers.

The software we also have on PC, and you say it's so so so much better w/e

fine you may be right their. THE processor is the same as you get in the Pc lisa only we get a much more powerful computer for the price.

Why all of a sudden try to start a mac vs war. That'll ruin your rep.

And your videos are very good. But hey if your happy with the mac enjoy....

Lol a suggestion though, i see vista in the background, No Way girl, go to Windows 7 lol.

  • Looking good there Lisa...what a sharp change in the look of your video. I am getting a MAC desktop and I can't wait...they offer one-on-one for about $99 and will be helping me with my website design from (site build it). This is like a dream come true and it all started with your videos. YOU ARE AWESOME!!! and cute 2 THANKS

  • can i have your old camera? ;D

  • Hey Lisa, I really appreciate all the information you've provided. Though I haven't fully considered Affiliate Marketing, I like the information you offer. I'm interested in creative film and building in miniature. I love the effort you put in and your willingness to share your knowledge. Many thanks. It's good to be around positive people who have really good ideas. Much success to you.

  • Thanks Lisa.......oh, nice jingle, too :) Future music producer I see :)

  • hey look at that...you got iMovie! Welcome to the MacSide!

  • what type of computer screen do you have behind you and how many inches please?

  • Why 300 for a camera

  • "Gotta use a mac"

    Not really ....

  • I love the music intro!! you are working that garage band. Also the video is so clear. I want a Mac!

  • Hey, Lisa have you taken some of those books off my bookshelf, they look like mine, LOL

  • Lisa, you look great with curly hair! Video looks wonderful. Thanks for the tips.

Since vista came out seems more people are moving to Macs. I am scared to by a computer because of vista, but don't know if all the programs I use can be used on a Mac.

  • Lisa if you need a husband to complete your successful lifestyle then you should leave me a note!

  • For die-hard Windows people... HD Video is easy with:

    - A good dual core laptop, with min. 2 gig of memory, (I use an LG R710)

    - Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 (Very powerful video suite)

    - Adobe Audition 3.0 (Comes with over 5000 loop tracks)

The above set-up is fantastic for doing videos on YouTube. Check mine

    out if you're curious.

P.S. Another wonderful camera are the Canon HV series.

    Hope this helps somebody!

  • Great vid as usual, and you look great!!!

  • hey lisa. have u went natural. ur hair looks great. u were always beautiful anyway but you are so beautiful with the curly hair. its a great look for u

  • Welcome to the Mac family. :-)

  • ˙˙ʍou ɔɐɯ ɐ ǝʌɐɥ ı

  • Hey lisa what mac did you get out of interest?

  • @MrE2E Mac Book Pro

  • @lisa3876 Waiting for the new MacBook Pro's to come out which should be any time soon. Great to hear you got one :)

  • Wow big difference, Macintosh for the win !!!

  • You mention that a Mac will cost more than a PC, but with all the add-ons you need to make your PC awesome and the stuff that already comes and makes your Mac awesome, Mac is by far cheaper :D

    That's my two cents

  • I'm glad to hear that you use a MAC for your videos and that you say MAC is the way to go..... I love MAC myself. Hope you have fun with it as well as take care of business. ENJOY!!!

  • Lisa I produce with a PC in Full 1080 and think it's great. You need a non linear editor, not low price software like pinnacle. Use a quad core processor or something that can take advantage of Cuda and you wouldn't be as impressed with entry level Mac gear.

  • @VideosfromIAM Was that English? LOL I know there are better solutions out there but I'm just learning so baby steps. This setup is far better than what I had. But thanks for the advice. This is only the beginning. Fun stuff!!! Looking forward to learning. :)

  • @lisa3876 Yeah my old friend and co producer used Final Cut on Mac and really loves it. There certainly isn't anything wrong with Mac I just wanted you to know that there are many PC solutions out there as well. Let me know if you ever have any questions on video production on the PC side. I enjoy your videos, keep up the good work.

  • @VideosfromIAM Why are so many people bent on tearing down Mac/Apple products for sake of the PC? PC & Windows aren't going anywhere and Mac is an excellent alternative to the "sometimes" cumbersome PC platform. I got a Mac and never looked back so that should say something, the functionality is just plain easier to get accustomed to and find the results you really want. Mac's improve workflow and PC's work!

  • Nice! You're even prettier in HD! And smarter. I won't say why because all the Windows people will get mad. :)

  • So...about that handycam...I need a camera. :-D I'm also broke, would you please donate it to me?

  • i have been watching your videos for a while now and it has helped me start my own site.... thank you for the great videos

  • your hair is cute

  • Do you know of any good free FTP servers? And macs can still get viruses just so you know. Thanks.

  • @TechInMe Just realized that. iMovie produced it in that resolution. Need to figure out how to change that. Thanks!

  • Comment removed

  • @lisa3876 In iMovie go share-quicktime and then click options-size and chose the resolution of your HD camera. Than export and it will be in 1080 on YouTube.

  • @lisa3876 iMovie is super-callah-freakin'-AWESOME! hahaha that's what I use for all mine

Soooo the bomb, don't you think?

  • the quality of the vid looks great. can't wait to get a mac myself =)

  • You got a Mac. Congrats!

  • I just now swithed to corel Video studio 12 and I'm now Dl'ing studio 14. i'm expiermenting a little bit, see what i can do. I didn't like the audio options i had with studio 10. the fading points were off and i couldn't mute certian sections But i like the effects. I've heard a lot of good things from Mac.

  • Does your new camera allow for the use of an external microphone?

Are you satisfied how your new camera works in low light situations indoors?

  • @blueBlackpurple no on the mic and the low light is pretty decent. When I first started recording this video the camera automatically lightened up to accommodate for the low light. (You won't see that though because the beginning is always edited out) I don't have the best light in my office so I think it does pretty good.

  • This is a nice quality; I have a clear view of your book collection in the background. I have some of those titles, need to copy down the others. :) Thanks for sharing.

  • Hey Lisa. The quality is fantastic. I love the HTML and CSS book in the background :)

  • great video, congratulations....

  • which version of pinnicle did you use. I use 10. it does freeze up. but my previous video i used windows movie maker.

  • @superdevins v 10, 12 and 14 have all frozen on me. My latest was 14. I don't know why I stuck with them so long.

  • Thanks for the info Lisa.

  • I know that this is way off topic but are you planning on getting adobe CS5?

  • Lisa has fallen to the mac side!!! NOOOOOOO!!! Come back to the light side!

  • @AnimationShorts1 LOL Don't worry... I still use Windows for everything else. Just Mac for video. ;)

  • @lisa3876 LOL kk

  • I had an awesome mac, but since I got Windows 7 it doesn't seem as good. Just my opinion

  • wtf i'm getting a mac

  • Far as music production the best program to use is FL studios. It's a little more advanced than garage band

  • you know I just thought it was my program that would freeze up. because i use a pinnacle.

  • i like it its great

  • I don't like hard drive cams because it's only a matter of time before that drive fails. I just wish they had prosumer P2 card cameras.

  • MACS ROCK :D

  • @ipodappsworld YES they do! Why oh why did it take me so long to bite!

  • hot and smart! the ultimate combination ;-)! keep up with the good work!

  • AWESOME!
