You should be learning about 70% of knowledge, required to have a basic understanding of the world around you, in High School. Especially if you plan pursue a life in the arts/humanities. Learning any kind of advanced math or science, or attempting to learn a language, are all incredibly difficult to do on your own. A good student doesn't need a good teacher and most bad teachers are just bad communicators, they still know the material. If you get nothing out of High School it's your own fault.
