  • in cod 5 those are similar except that B is Baker, which i have heard in other military things to. I've heard baker squad more than bravo squad

  • yea, private millitary's like the marines sometimes use other names. im not sure why though...

  • That's because back then, in the 1940s the military alphabet was different then the Modern Day Military Alphabet.

  • the military uses this for radio mostly in case the message gets grabled you can make it out instead of having to repeat the whole message over again

  • thats why instead of saying nine (9) the say Niner because it sounds too much like five (5)
