I admired Toyota for recalling their vehicles. Toyota got balls, this much I know. Besides. i would rather buy from a company that recalls their vehicles for defects than buy from... let's say.. FORD, GM, and Chrysler. Ford, GM, and Chrysler hardly recalls their vehicles, that's is the single reason why their vehicles break down all the time.

@ksquarex The Big Three automakers recall their vehicles the same rates as foreign automakers. In many cases, it's not up to the automaker to recall the vehicle. It's usually up to the NHTSA.

And I wouldn't say they break down all the time. I had a '10 LS460 suffer a total computer failure after only 115 miles. Ended up going back to my '01 Ford Escape and drove it until it had 415,000 miles, before selling it off.

Well. I realy hopes Toyota Worldwide will learns from what happened and improve their quality, I just bought my second toyota Camry 2010 by the end of last year and it´s part of the recall cars. Besides I can feel the down of quality from previous Toyotas. It´s a shame.

Most of the toyotas in japan are superior quality. U realize that most the recalled cars are produced by incompetent americans lol. The management of toyota usa must be penny pinchers, thats why the quality of cars in japan are better than over here. I have a prius. I am glad that it uses japanese parts even tho it prolly was assembled here.
