@77HeIix Oh wow good point! Our baseball team is a perfect example. For past the 19 years they have done nothing but lose. So why would i go spend $20 or more just to see the Pirates get the crap kicked out of them? Its waste of money and time. Besides its not like half of Pittsburgh just started cheering other teams. They just didn't care to watch a shitty team get beat every time.

In 06-07 the flyers were in dead last place, yet we still sold out our games, we didn't have only 11k people showing up to hockey games, your city is full of bandwagoners.

@77HeIix Sorry for the late reply, but i disagree. Im glad you have used resources to argue with and not just made shit up. I can see how crosby coming to pittsburgh and people flocking to games makes us look like bandwagoners. But we were not cheering for any other teams. True we dont attend our losing team games which would make us a shitty fanbase. But I for one have always cheered for my teams if they r winning or losing.

Losing Jagr to the Rangers and seeing Lemieux retire hurt the city of Pittsburgh, but with Sidney and Geno we see memories of Jagr and Lemieux with ever play they make.
