Thanks for doing this, Dom!! It's much appreciated. I bought this model two years ago just before I knew they were replacing it w/the SB900. Wished they had NOT stopped making it b/c it's a great flash. I just got mine back from repair and REALLY missed it...
Only being able to rotate the head 90 degrees to the right is one my pet hates - same on SB 600 - I believe this has been addressed on the new SB 700 to be 180 degrees left and right.
great Video, find Flahs Photography very confusing, iv owned the SB800 for about 4 years and nevr new it could be used remotley lol

Does anybody think Nikon should make a speedlight that uses the same battery as the camera (e.g. en-el3) instead of AA batteries?
Is there a reason they dont, or have they just not though of it??

This display and menu system is so much more comprehensive than Canons Flash layouts (not that Canon's can't do similar things).
Good Vid. Thanks.

What do you think of the sb-700 vs 800 and 900?
I'm going to buy my first flash when I got the money. Which one would you get?

I have a SB-600 and a Nikon D60. Can I trigger the flash of the camera without using any other stuff attached to the camera and the flash? Thanks! :)
