u connected a copper wire to a 12v battery or what ever wire and connected it to the circuit of the batteries and because its a 12v battery it will have an extreme rof
True. It can also wreck other things like the plastic gears, etc...I was amused at the ROF I achieved, as well as the fact that it survived the test.
Granted, that auto battery also died on us shortly after making this video, so I'm not even sure if the battery was performing to specs. The ROF seems about right for 12V though I think...
The original reason why I bought this thing was for a briefcase gun project...Which was successful, but unfortunately I never got any video of it.
It was feeding bbs. If you listen carefully you can hear them hitting the wall. I'm not sure how reliably it was feeding them, but it was definitely putting out a higher volume of fire than normal...
i mean what is the fps with 12v cuz when u put in a higher volt it makes speeed and fps go up i no cuz i had a batter that was 8.5v then i got a 10v and it mad my gun perform much better then befour almost like NOS in a car
I don't think that is very common to see a significant increase in fps when upgrading the rate of fire (voltage), because you are still pulling the same spring and releasing it the at the same level of compression. At least, in this case it didn't seem any more powerful than usual.
In order for it to lose fps, how fast would the rate of fire have to be for an m16-sized barrel? How much would it decrease the fps? I have a JG AUG, and I want to know how much the fps is decreasing with 950 rpm. Please reply
Well, My M14 is shoot just under that, and it lost about 30 FPS. On an AUG it's probably not as drastic as my M14 because the barrel is shorter, so you probably lost 15-20 FPS.
Very low fps just like any mini. The box advertizes "350 fps" which is obviously a joke. I'm honestly not sure but if I had to guess I would say something around 100 fps.
Don't let the color fool you! Yeah, this one in particular is extremely weak (that is the nature of mini electrics). Some examples of fairly effective airsoft weapons that I've seen in clear are the JG MP5 and M4 AEGs, along with the Crosman Micro uzi and various other CO2 pistols.
It's not dead yet! I'm thinking of going even higher voltage wise to see how much it can get up to before it really does kill itself.
Powerwise, it still just like any mini, week as hell. The voltage increase only steps up the rate of fire (which is at about 16 or 17 rounds per second now).
hillarious

the gun is still a piece of shit. A bigger battery dose not increase the fps but just the rof meaning the motor will burn out.

Yea, higher ROF doesn't raise FPS. If your barrel is long enough (Like in my M14) a high rate of fire will decrease FPS.
