nice ties, guys. i remember hangin out in front of the metro (chicago) round '88 when dave "stinky" pirner stumbles out of the bar next door & sez hey baby to a passing girl; she sez F---YOU! & shoves him right into bob mould who was comin out (no pun) behind him & they collapse into a giggling drunken heap on the ground. 20 min later, Dave & co deliver one of the best sets of RnRoll i've ever seen. yes chilluns, there was a time when Soul Asylum didn't suck.

Couldn't agree more! Saw Husker Du back in '83 with Minor Threat, '84 with the Meat Puppets and Minutemen and in '87 for the Warehouse tour. They were always great.
