Actually fuck all ya'll. I like this dude's video of the Whammy, he gets crazy Moog sounds, and actually shows a wider variety of it's capacities on this setting than a lot of the shred-fest fuckfaces elsewhere.

Never heard the Whammy used in a blues setting before, and I have to say, much as I wasn't expecting to, I really enjoyed it. Really good use of it, rather than a lot of people who just steal from Tom Morello and sweep single notes up and down with it. Also loving the scary ghost face XD

What you explain often happens on stompboxes, not only on the whammy and there is nothing to worry about. It's a matter of physics.

It's due to electrostatic made by the mechanical movement from the switch (popping).

The best way to avoid this would be with an internal buffer which would transform the input signal into a low impedance output signal.

Otherwise, before turning on your set up, just click several times on the bypass switch to discharge the static electricity.

You really need the digitech whammy pedal to get this effect. Digitech still releases that pedal and also in various multi effects of digitech. Boss also got a pitch shifting pedal, but that one sucks. I got the original whammy-01 and its the best.

if the heel position is not set to 0 u won't be able to get the original sound

i have a digitech whammy, and its great, but there is one problem. When i try to bring the "foot lever thing"( or actual pedal part of the effect) to the position in which the signal is not changed (all the way up) the sound always goes a little bit sharp. Is there any way i can loosen the screws so that it will go ALL the way up? Help!
