@TheJohnandrea the ps3's "CPU" is the CELL B.E., it is not even close to a CPU in terms of functionality as it can only handle operations with instruction coding strings for each process just as data thats routed to a GPU does (ie. shader operations, anti aliasing, buffering and texture mapping)
the ps3 pretty much has a shitty ass CPU with 2 GPU's.
its not that developers being lazy when it comes it the "bad ports", its that CELL B.E. coding is alien to developers and sony has shitty dev tools.

Microsoft's press confrence had Gears of war 3, Halo reach, fable 3 and project natal (kinect) plus exclusive stuff for black ops that you cant get for the ps3. Now this is my opinion, and I say that the 360 is better, disregarding the red rings of death.
Nintendo were the clear winners this year. Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Golden Eye 007, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, 3DS, Kid Icarus Uprising, loads of 3rd party support for 3DS, new Metroid: Other M trailer. And for the casuals they had Mario Sports Mix, Wii Party & Just Dance 2. they pleased everyone. They won E3 2010.
Nintendo rarely has a game first party or third party game that i would like to play or other wises.... And like you said It's about the games, So in my eyes Nintendo has never won E3 and that doesn't make me a fanboy.

As a Playstation Fan il admit that nintendo won E3 this year they just rolled one game after the other. Then we get onto Microsoft they did have shit this year nothing new at all, they haven't had that much on offer for a good 12 months now.

@STIDEMYNAME i had a 360 but from personal experience of what microsoft are prepared to do about harasment including console hacking just drove me away from the 360, since the time i sold my 360 till now (about 5 months) ive had no connection drop and been able to play without worry online, ive had no harasment on ps3. to me the games sony showed were much more impressive than microsofts, ie killzone 3 a huge improvement over the last game where as gears 3 looks slightly better than gaers 2.
nintendo, now that they have mastered the use of the ds and wii hardware, will now face a slew of good games similar to the xbox 360 on 2007 and 2009. Sony will now continue to use the superior power of the ps3 to its full limits, giving us beautiful games. With the release of kinect, microsoft will now mainly concentrate on kinect for at least 2 years, which means that, if it fails, they will have to abort, catch their breath, and try to win the people back.
The way Microsoft demoed Kinect was just... embarrassing. A little girl playing with a virtual tiger? Too casual. And at the end of the conference they pulled off a dick move by giving free Xbox 360s to the tech and media journalists in the press conference. But what about the fans that wanted to see the show but weren't allowed through the gates?

@TheJohnandrea the ps3's "CPU" is the CELL B.E., it is not even close to a CPU in terms of functionality as it can only handle operations with instruction coding strings for each process just as data thats routed to a GPU does (ie. shader operations, anti aliasing, buffering and texture mapping)
the ps3 pretty much has a shitty ass CPU with 2 GPU's.
its not that developers being lazy when it comes it the "bad ports", its that CELL B.E. coding is alien to developers and sony has shitty dev tools.

@TheJohnandrea its not laziness or money "whores" (learn to spell), its because of these programers who have been programing under power pc architecture for 20+ years will have to COMPLETELY learn to program for an architecture that will be obsolete within the next 5 years as sony has no intentions of using the cell as a CPU and placing it in as part of a GPU system.
the pc has the smallest gaming community, its dying and next gen consoles will finish it off as a gaming platform.

Nintendo makes games for everyone, rated E doesnt mean Kids only, E means everyone, besides alot of these games are really challenging so hardcore gamers would have there work cut out for them.

fanboys exagerate the facts, GeneralMLD is 1 such example of a fanboy exagerating fact, his talk about psn plus was complete trash (so far i have had over £63 of content so im not at all bothered about the £40 subscription fee) its the same for 360 owners if you want a great service you pay for it and again xbox live costs £40rrp (you dont get as much free content but you do get a great online experience) the 2 services balance each other out, and lultiplats look exactly the same.

Nintendo were the clear winners this year. Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Golden Eye 007, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, 3DS, Kid Icarus Uprising, loads of 3rd party support for 3DS, new Metroid: Other M trailer. And for the casuals they had Mario Sports Mix, Wii Party & Just Dance 2. they pleased everyone. They won E3 2010.

As a Playstation Fan il admit that nintendo won E3 this year they just rolled one game after the other. Playstation Conference was a bit slow at the start and and had parts with just so guy going on about crap (its like just show me the God Damn game!!), Although most of it was about the Move, Killzone, Gran Turismo and twisted Metal. Then we get onto Microsoft they did have shit this year nothing new at all, they haven't had that much on offer for a good 12 months now.

@STIDEMYNAME i had a 360 but from personal experience of what microsoft are prepared to do about harasment including console hacking just drove me away from the 360, since the time i sold my 360 till now (about 5 months) ive had no connection drop and been able to play without worry online, ive had no harasment on ps3. to me the games sony showed were much more impressive than microsofts, ie killzone 3 a huge improvement over the last game where as gears 3 looks slightly better than gaers 2.

i sort of think this will happen.
nintendo, now that they have mastered the use of the ds and wii hardware, will now face a slew of good games similar to the xbox 360 on 2007 and 2009. Sony will now continue to use the superior power of the ps3 to its full limits, giving us beautiful games. With the release of kinect, microsoft will now mainly concentrate on kinect for at least 2 years, which means that, if it fails, they will have to abort, catch their breath, and try to win the people back.

mmm I really think Nintendo kicked both MS and Sony´s asses (since 2007) MS did good with their kinect and the n360 tho, and Sony showing they finaly convinced Valve to make a game for their console was cool too

@bigalex978 Well then, im glad I aint a fanboy. I like the ps3 most BUT I like other consoles too, like the wii. But to be honest I really dont like the 360. All that console does is drain your money

I just really like ur way of speaking. u always nail the point and ur being respectful doing so. ppl just have to admit that nintendo won this year. maybe it will be totally diffrent next year, and then u would admit if nintendo lost. I loved to play twised metal 3 on the american ps1 of my friend. wish there was a EU version of it. gottot w8 für my soon to be ps3 which can play NSTC games. most ppl dont like part 3 but for me it was the only one I ever played and I fucking loved it
