gameplay was ripped off of other games, which doesn't make it bad I'm just saying. Also the lock-on IS EXTREMELY CHEAP, although I do rack up a LOT of kills from jetpacking in front of somebody locking on and then just holding the trigger button down on my Machine Gun, it gets old. This game is not worth 60$, but you are insane if you don't download the demo. Btw it's a 360 exclusive (the demo) I think, so if you can't find it on PSN that's why.

Agreed. IMO this game is trying to take a page from the Tribes series, only without all of the cool vehicles and the power-skiing. It's a pretty game, but not as deep as I'd like, and rather bland in general.

And god damn do they ever need to balance the lock on thing somehow. Lock on, shoot, overdrive to get away, rinse, repeat. It's an almost unbeatable strategy at the moment in the open beta.

There is for the PC. I have to say though, a friend wanted me to try it out so I did, and it isn't great. The respawn falling and sprinting is fun but the actual combat is meh.....It's fun at first but there really shouldn't be shields to take down in order to get to health. It's a bit too much and it takes time to get used to.

I love these new concepts... actually they're not new concepts really but just a combination of existing ones. this seems to me like battlefield 2 combined with the the ship customization of EVE. but you're not customizing a ship--you're customizing your character's suit... and wasn't Crysis the first major game that had a 'power suit'?

On a Sidenote I spend a lot of time on the Section 8 forums, you can hold 2 Weapons, and you can have any two weapons in the slots your not limited to a primary and a secondary(pistols and stuff.) So far there are only 2 vehicles, a tank and a walker. But they have a ton of videos and other interviews there if you want to learn more.
