Suggestion. If you are going to run through a battery of tests either have them up or have a folder or shortcuts available where you aren't navigating the app drawer in the video. It's the small things that make a video standout. Other than that, not bad.

Got a Telus SGS2 X overclocked at 1.89ghz and I'm getting 101 mflops consistently and 4500ish in quadrant and 6500+ in AnTuTu :) i know quandrants don't mean much but i don't think it's as bad as people describe it when comparing to the international galaxy s2

Is it just me or does every HTC phone lag a little (choppy here and there)? I think its a problem in HTC Sense UI. It's slowing down the phone and you can notice it @ 2:47 samsung reacts quickly whereas HTC is still processing information... Honestly, I can tell Samsung is a much higher quality phone I don't care if it copied iPhone or whatever it just beats every phone out on the market IMO.

The Amoled screen wins it from the HTC S-LSD. Only because Samsung buys them all up and HTC doesn't get any finger on them. And the Galaxy is still a ripoff from the iphone. All-so bencmark will say nothing, i saw that the HTC gets sooner back to its homescreen @ 4:45. So i'll prefer a HTC as the rom's are nicer.

even though both the phones have a 1.2 ghz processor if you run the quadrant advanced youll see that galaxy s2 has the best 2D and 3D score. much higher than htc sensation. my galaxy s i9000 also has the best 2D and 3D graphics in all 1ghz processor phones :) :D :P

If you think about it, Samsung is the biggest electronics company in the world, they make their own microchips, LCD wafers, memories, etc. when you compare it to HTC which is a much smaller electronic fabrication factory, you'll see why the Galaxy wins, with all the budget and resources that SS has, there's no way HTC can beat it.

I can't help but wonder if the fact that the HTC Sensation has 35% more pixels than the Samsung has anything whatever to do with the benchmark results. If both phones sported 640X480 screens, instead of what they currently have, would their quadrant scores be higher still? Of course, there are some downsides to lower resolution. Details look sharper to me on the HTC though the S2 has more vivid colors.
