  • My dad is the director of this movie...do you like it?

  • Oh look, yet ANOTHER movie about mean, white Germans and good Communists. It's been about six hours since such a film was made - and with bad actors to boot! Don't hold your breath waiting for the Hollywood (Jewish) film on Stalin's 30 million murdered and the Gulags. Only non-Jewish Germans are bad. Ukraine never happened. Support Israel...repeat until the masses feel so guilty they surrender their sovereignty, liberty and identity to Globalism. Then the real fun will begin...

  • @MarcusCMarcellus 20 million that stalin murdered not 30, but you do have a point, This is AMerica and I wish they would stop making Michael Moore movies

  • @Stargate404 That is not a hard figure. There is evidence for anything between 20-40; I picked 30.

  • best movie ive seen

  • Against almost everything the Soviets defeated the fascist pigs. You must realize that the people who ran that country where horrible, but those who survived the battles, starvation, corruption, and cold are the strongest people on this earth. Lenin fought for a better future for his people and at a time achieved it, but one man lead the country back to the same place they where. Once Stalin was gone times where probably still better than they are now for the Russians.

  • @Laluush Your naivete could fill an encyclopedia. You embarrass yourself.

  • @MarcusCMarcellus Look at all the former countries controlled by the Motherland. Where are they? They are fighting each other because there is no government that does anything. Ask any former Soviet how things where before and how they are now. The history books are only written by the corrupt government, not the people who lived there in that time.

  • @Laluush Because Lenin, Trotsky and Stalin killed them, that's why we can't ask them.

  • @MarcusCMarcellus I am not defending Stalin or Trosky, just Lenin and the brief period where he made a fucking difference by ending Czar Nicholas II and his idiotic beliefs on Rasputin

  • @Laluush Bad as belief in Rasputin was, belief in Communism was much, much worse. Lenin killed in a few days more than the last Tsar killed in years.

  • @SpectatorAlius Have you forgotten on Bloody Sunday? Innocence killed, even children. All I say is that Russia is in an even worse place than it was previously.

  • i thought it was a peculiarity of russian self-concept to deny the role of the allies in ww2. it turns out the west also has its share of insecure minds. deal with it - ussr WAS a key player in ww2. when allies invaded normandy, the battles of moscow, stalingrad and kursk had already occurred. and the scale of those events was quite different from what happened in sicily, africa, or japan. allies were immense help, but it was ussr pulling chestnuts out of the fire

  • lol, i love it when people automatically debate ww2 in any and all ww2 videos. i mean seriously, we all know the holohoax didnt happen. whats left to debate?

  • @DZGunner Either you really believe that or are simple a troll trying to get shock value, Either way it steams from the fact that no one pays attention to you our takes you for a second to be serious. Yes debating a subject matter that is currently on hand is called relevance

  • @AntagonisticEnemy you payed attention to me.

  • why can't they make a movie showing this attack for what it was, hell on earth, not a stupid sappy movie with characters that never existed

  • @UberMonsterDude well said

  • Hooray, another (Jewish) Hollywood movie in which the Germans are the bad guys, the history is all off, and all for the sake of lining the true victors of the war's pockets.

  • @blablanowwork Hey, at least this time it's from the Soviet perspective rather than another generic "saving private ryan" American wet dream.

  • @alphatotheomega7 You mean from the nazis former allies the soviet union. Lets put some facts straight the soviet union did not join the war against the nazis out of there free will. It was because they were attacked and they were forced to defend themselves/.

  • @AntagonisticEnemy Hey, they did the dirty work in defeating Germany. Out of 5 million German soldiers killed, 4 million were killed by the Soviets. Nuff said. Hate them or not, they won the war.

  • @alphatotheomega7 No not exactly many of those 4 million which I wonder where you got that. While the Russians killed alot of that number you got, you are lumping in those who died from sickness the cold and starvation. The russians did not win the war they survived it which is about as much as you can say for them. As the British killed majority of the germans air force took out the nazis from the resource rich africa along with American soldiers

  • @AntagonisticEnemy holy shit you are IGNORANT! British were the victors? are u fucking serious mate! tell me imbecilic! who was first to Berlin? hu? tel me! you cant re write history! if it wasn't for Russia Germany would have used nuclear weapons and obliterated Britain and the rest of the world. This conversation makes my blood boil, the disrespect to the 20 million lost Russian men and woman, you are a disgrace!

  • @humanequilibrium Cursing every other word does not for any degree make you intelligent or rational. Russia did nothing to stop germans Nuclear program it was the germans who did it to themselves. Yeah because Russia was chasing a retreating army instead of a fighting army on the west front. The Russians only survived the war. A country ten times small with a army just about that small had them pushed back into they capital. Without Britain and then America the second front would never of

  • @humanequilibrium been. The russians would then have to take on a renewed and healthy German forces. Maybe even including Rommel who if had not been in Africa might of been the one on the eastern front. Along with the elite ss panzer divisions that were thrown at the americans in the battle of the bulge would've of been on the eastern front. The synthetic oil production and oil fields that were taken out by british and americans would still be. The massive Air and naval loss of German

  • @humanequilibrium in the battle of Britain Would've of undoubtedly been pressed against the Russians. The Russians Far from won the war. They Survived it Sure they may have killed more Germans but they are also had the highest death record of any nation in the war. If Britain had been conquered in the early on set of the war. There would've of been no second to divert Germans strength no one to stop them from claiming resources in Africa for they war effort. A health Luftwaffe and army

  • @humanequilibrium And also How did I disrepect the dead. Oh and of that 20 million stalins purges and his kgb killing people are also in that number. Stalin fought back because he was attacked RUSSIA fought back because they were attacked. They did not willing go to war with german they had no choice by that time. It is not disrespectfully to state the actually reasons that Russia went to war at all

  • @humanequilibrium America was in two theaters. Perhaps you forget these because of your poor history lesson; But German had a powerfully ally in Asia. Japan was currently taking advantage off chinas little civil way to conquer china and good deal of asia. After they subdued china which was surprisingly awfully close to happening before America enter into the pacific. They would've of been able to open the second front on Russia. Also remember the russians had already lost a war to japan

  • @AntagonisticEnemy When Russia lost to Japan, it was almost 40 years previous, in 1905. Stop treating it like it happened the day before WWII. There was a non-agression pact between the USSR and Japan for the majority of the war, because both agreed that a war in Siberia would be pretty pointless. Both sides honored this pact until 1945 when the USSR found it convenient to break.

  • @humanequilibrium That being said if Britain had fallen and America never entered the war Japan never attacked America. They would of been no second front for the Nazi war machine. But they would most likely be a second front for Russia. Because China in the midst of a civil war with itself was getting beaten badly by the japanese. Who probably could of solidified a second front on Russia. Russia by the way barely managed to defeat just what the Germans had. Germans would've of had

  • @AntagonisticEnemy wow....its amazing how delusional you are! I use to care about nationalism! Damn these boarders! DAMN these imaginary walls that bind us! dam AMERICA! Dam RUSSIA! we are all humans! i'm sick of this! we are better than this! ......... Russia was the biggest player in Nazi defeat! if you cant see that, im sorry, i hope one day you do :)

  • @humanequilibrium Delusional How hypocritical Were you taught nothing. OR is it that you simple have nothing intelligible to say. The fact is Russia was not the biggest player there were Germans punching bag. We are all humans yes but with huge difference in society and in culture and view points and understanding the world we live in. Some people are the bad guys some people different some are ignorant. I feel Like I'm explaining this to a four year old

  • @AntagonisticEnemy Are you delusional? "Resource rich Africa?!?" Really? There's nothing in Africa but a shit ton of heat, sand, and misery. The only reason the Africa Korps was in that area is because they wanted to get to the middle east's oil, and that's an entire continent away in Asia, buddy. And you ask for sources?

Look up "Eastern Front casualties on wikipedia, encyclopedia brittanica, anywhere.

    Don't try to change history.

  • @alphatotheomega7 African oil takes growing importance, mainly after the 2003 oil crisis and recent oil reserves discoveries. Sudan and Nigeria are two of the main oil producers. China owns 40% of Sudan's oil production. Oil is provided by both continental and offshore productions

  • @AntagonisticEnemy Okay if the oil was discovered in 2003 and a good deal of the drilling operations didn't start up until after WWII, (especially offshore drilling, that didn't really get explored until the 50s) the oil wasn't really present in Africa in the 1940s for Germany to go after. If the Germans wanted sub-saharan, oil, they would have gone through the Sahara (which would have been pretty stupid). But Rommel didn't, because he was heading East towards Egypt and Iraq the entire time!

  • @ocelot646 Actually wrong on several accounts, Oil found in libya 14 or so years later not in 2003 would prove to be the worlds 10th largest in size alone. Also Egypt Is still technically In africa lol. How does anything you say prove that Africa was not resource rich with alot of it being untapped and unexplored. In regards to russia losing the war in 1905. I never said it was right before ww2. Yeah because a non-aggression pact was what Russia Had with wait who was it some form ally

  • @ocelot646 Second Siberia LOL when did Russia and Japan ever fight over SIBERIA. . In 1931, 21 years later, Japan invaded Manchuria in the Mukden Incident. The same area that they had fought with Russia before but this time it was against the fracture Chinese . Japan Wanted control of Asia and some of the areas russia still held sway in asia. So really did anything you say go to disprove what I said ?

  • @AntagonisticEnemy Wow dude, you know your stuff! I found out about Mukden incident earlier this year from the video game Men Of War: Allied Assault. It's very interesting that the Russians and Japanese were already fighting at that time. Sort of like a mini-war I believe.

  • @GeminiK WW2 is a very interesting Subject. Many want to claim that russia single handily or did more in defeating germany. While Russia had huge losses it was not because they were fighting anymore then the British. They just had a policy that allowed them to throw countless human waves at machine gun post human loss did not matter at all to the soviet union. As the kgb were still killing Russians in stalingrad. Stalingrad was made a bloody ruin because of stalins own pride and refusal to

  • @AntagonisticEnemy Interesting. The people of Leningrad (modern day St. Petersburg) said, in private to western reporters, that the siege era was the "happiest time of their life"!! When queried, by the reporters, about how that era could have possibly have anything happy about it they explained that it was because "during the siege they did not have to contend with Stalin!!"

  • @GeminiK Thank goodness the Axis took on to many fronts and enemy's to succeed. If Britian Had been conquered by a land invasion and the serve loss the Luftwaffe suffered that wouldve of been turned against the Russians. Along with the forces in Europe and the Atlantic WALL. Who knows the germans might of gotten using lead rods over heavy water and managed to produce a nuclear power source enough to make a bomb. They had the v-2 and plenty of ways of getting it on target.

  • @alphatotheomega7 Africa has a large quantity of natural resources including oil, diamonds, gold, iron, cobalt, uranium, copper, bauxite, silver, petroleum, but also woods and tropical fruits. It has lots of its natural resources undiscovered or barely tapped. That is simple not true Africa had no vital resources which the Germans needed

  • @blablanowwork Yeah, the nerve of those pesky Jews, distorting history to make the Germans look like bad guys. I mean, what did the Germans do to deserve such treatment?

    Oh yeah. Nevermind.

  • @avalsonline2

ur retarded. most stories that people wrote books on on ww2 starting heavily in the 1980s were from first-account soldiers, civilians, commanders, archives, news media, etc. journalists made sure the propagandized newsreels were accurate then their other info. was archived nor heard of until later in the 1980s/90s. A LOT of dismal information never got out from both European and Pacific Fronts on both sides until the end of the war. nice example was 1st wave on D-day Omaha B.

  • this trailer music is from call of duty1...oddly enough but the music is a fitting choice

  • Sergio Leone was planning to make a film right before he died. It was called "Leningrad: The 900 Days" based on Harrison Salisbury's non-fiction book The 900 Days: The Siege of Leningrad and it was about a photographer on a assignment (whom Leone wanted to be played by Robert De Niro) becoming trapped in Russia as the Germans attack the city. He becomes romantically involved with a Russian woman as they attempt to survive the siege. Could this be the same film Sergio Leone was going to work on?

  • is this another hbo ww2 series goddamnit!

  • oh crap another Hollywood re write of history..... oh hum......can imagine the inaccuracies in this piece of crap....one of the epic sieges of the war will have a hollywood touch...HAHAHAHA..... why don't they just go and do another Obama dinner at 32,000 bucks a plate and think they are saving the world...look around...you pukes did the damage......go love a whale or something.....stop distorting history....

  • Should be Siege of Leningrad

  • cool description

  • Terrible movie

  • a chick flick based on one of the most gruesome slaughters of all time is a disgusting thought

  • Were it actually about the war as opposed to the civilians, I might have some level of interest in this film. As it is, I'm gonna go with no.

  • @KILLRAIN42 well the civilians were apart of the war, and so im curious as to what you mean. Do you want to see people gunned down like animals or something? Im just curious no offense intended but the way you phrase your comment sounds curious

  • @ninjadel2 I mean I want to know about the soldiers who fought. I'm much more interested in the Russian soldiers than I am the civilians. Enemy At The Gates did a good job of mixing civilians and soldier viewpoints, but this looks like it's all civilians, which as a war history junkie, I don't really find alot of interest, and I really lack interest in journalists. I'm not interested in learning about a journalist that was dumb enough to go out to the front in the first place.

  • @KILLRAIN42 as a history junkie you should know the value of primary sourses. without the "stupid journalists" you would not have the primary surses to learn about the war. if oyu wana see a mindless shoot em up flick, go watch inglorious bastards.

  • @avalsonline2 First, I consider troops in the field to be a primary source. Second, I'm not saying a mindless shoot em up, I'm talking about something like Band of Brothers, or The Pacific, first-hand recollections from soldiers who fought. I'm more interested in the struggles of the soldiers as opposed to the civilians. Since a journalist would be getting information after the fact and from people in the cities or battles actually they wouldn't be a primary source. THEIR sources would be that.

  • @KILLRAIN42 look up the definition of primary historical sourse, friend. the "stupid jurnalists" you talk about are right there, getting the information first hand. while most soldiers do not actually write accounts, the "stupid journalists" make it their job to write their first hand acocunts. as for the civilians, they too experience the war first hand. YOU are not so much intersted in history as you are in war movies, otherwise oyu would know the value of civs and "stupid journalists".

  • eh....

  • Terribly disappointed that this doesn't have anything to do with Snake Plissken...

  • @JohannVF I must be an 80s dude, because I actually GOT that reference from Escape from New York instantaneously.

    Snake Plissken FTW.

  • Interesting
