Awesome jam from Kim; this was recorded around the time my wife saw him with me for her first show, and we've been to at least 6 since then. This guy is one of the great psychedelic blues players of all time
Kim is the unsung hero of Brit Blues. He stands on the same podium with Peter Green and Rory Gallagher (all three looking down at Clapton, who in my opinion is the weakest of them all, especially in terms of conviction). Kim is a huge influence on my playing and I was lucky to see him perform twice in the mid 90's.
Decades of unforgettable music. Kim is every bit the contemporary of Peter Green, Eric Clapton, & Jimmy Page. I've seen them live in concert many times, and it's always obvious he plays for the love of playing. My Les Paul proudly displays his autograph.
Alright Kim,lookin and soundin even better (if thats possible)!!! This is LES. I used to live in Florida and never missed a show down there since the late 70's!!!
Hope you come to N.C. soon, and say hello to Jason for me! Cheers!
I saw this band on the same tour in San Francisco. Great show, wish a few more people had been out there for it but it was great to be real close to the band. Also saw him in the late 90s and he isn't going downhill at all. Looking forward to the next tour.
Saw kim in Phoenix 07 he looks great and plays wicked ... reminded me of the good old ddays when It's a Beautiful Day use to open for them , to bad there are rules now to concerts it makes them so uneventful compared to the old days
The current power trio lineup is one of Savoy Brown's best ever. At an age when most blues guitarists start losing their chops or slowing down, Kim just keeps getting better.
I've allways liked KIm!! one of my son and I's favorites......Check out my son 18 years old Daniel Conti and Drawing Back doing Street Corner Talking Live....here on U TUBE
Kim and the fellas, thank you for posting. With all SB vinyl long gone, I finaly was blessed to see you in Denver in Sept. 07 at Soiled Dove Underground. I came along with your MC for the evening from KCUV FM. Brian Elliot, so I got to experience your backstage conversation, during your (more than the basic 90) minute show. Fantastic and your such a good player, which the SB recordings don't really reveal. A Gibson man too. It was my 54th birthday. The best, Kim.
Gota luv it! I was first introduced to Savoy Brown when I purchased Hellbound Train! The next album I bought was Jack The Toad! I love it to this day! Why is Jack the Toad such a hard songlist to find? What I didn't know at the time is I saw Foghat in 1975 and they were essentially Savoy Brown! Nice to know that years later! They were the headliners with Santana, J. Geils Band and Pure Prairie League! What a show! Wally G.
Savoy Brown, one of my old high school favorites. Saw Kim Simmonds back in the late 70's. Always liked Street Corner Talking album the best, even though it wasn't the original lineup. This video is great! Kim still has it. Thanks for posting.
just got turned on to them

It saddens me how under-rated Kim is. I've been digging Savoy Brown since 1966.

Thanks for putting this up. An old fave of mine. Kim has got to be one of the most under appreciated blues guitarists.
