  • All sounded the same.

  • he must be really good at memory games.

  • Holy S@$#!

  • great inspiration, u r so great at voice acting... but i dont know whos better out of u and nolan north! ur both immense and together probably take up 50% of the voices in gaming and movies and ads.

  • that was funny

  • So that's Gnome.. Huh..

  • I find it amazing but also kinda scary how you can do all these voices!

  • "I gotta go tell Sandy" LOL

  • James,

I hate to say this about poor Ewan McGregor's voice, but yours pops first into my head nowadays when I think of younger Obi-wan. That'll surely throw me off when I catch Star Wars in theaters tomorrow.

Great job on your video. Most of your impressions were spot on, and I have faith you can probably nail each voice when isolated. I know why you have the job you have. Good on you for being so candid about it through your "day in my life" videos!

  • Now we need to see JAT do a Nolan North impression and vice versa.

That'll be the day the world shall explode.

  • JAT, I love you and your thousands of voices. You're an extremely talented man!

  • I just feel like James Arnold Taylor and Nolan North should form a team and fight crime with their voices alone.

  • DUDE U R MY HERO THAT WAS AWSOME

  • Know who my favorite voice actor is? Vic Mignogna. :)

  • I always wondered why Johnny Test sounded so much like a higher pitched Ratchet...

    Now,

    I KNOW

    You're a boss.

  • Amazing, one time he is Bill Clinton and than he is wooldor sockbat from drawn together

  • I know that I've commented on here before, but no matter how many times I've watched this, it still amazes me.

  • That is a brilliant routine. What more can I say? Your range and acting is disturbingly awesome.

If I may, I have a question/challenge: You did the Fallen in the Revenge of the Fallen game. Who would he be connected to?

  • Amazing I wounder what other voice immpressions he can do?

  • He should try to do Tidus from FFX!

  • man, that's really impressive, I thought most of them were perfect, and the few that weren't came pretty damn close. Also, to do them rapid fire like that, and still stay in time with the video... that takes some serious skill. Good show, my man, good show.

  • I love you lol omg you do such a good job =D

  • i thought thoughts were really good, and to the haters, CAN YOU DO IT BETTER?

  • Hi James Arnold Taylor! I am a massive fan of yours i have wacthed heaps of shows that you have voice acted in and i mus t say in my opinion (and heaps of other peoples opnion too) you are a very talented voice actor.I want to be avoice actor like you! Sounds corny i know but its true! ive subscribed to your channel and i want to send a freind request but i dont know how. I would really appreiate it if you could help me.

    your biggest fan the scarecrow!

  • Best video ever!

  • Yoda sounds similar to Golum :D

  • That was very cool and you add more people, sweet.

  • This man has talent! This is why I love Voice Actors so much

Also, 5:17 Wooldoor Sockbat right here =D

  • Do you think you'll be doing live shows again? I'd honestly pay money to see this live! haha

  • This was freakin' sweet. The setup and delivery was amazing.

  • TIDUSSSSSSSSS

  • No Ratchet imitations? :(

  • that was amazing james. i want to be something like that.

  • there were so many good ones, david spade may be my fav

  • fake

  • The British ones were all pretty bad

  • Hey bro, people are going to say mean shit, its the internet. I thought you were good. And, if I knew you irl, i would congratulate you with a bj.

  • Shia Labeouf was all wrong. You actually made him sound as though he could act and had some form of talent.

What you should have said was "No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no".

  • The shia labeouf one is nothing like his. Sorry

  • Christopher Walken is the best.

  • you suck

  • to everyone saying some were awful that's your opinion but what i really liked was the smooth transition between the voices and how oblivious I was to how a small change in pitch/tone/accent can give a new personality to a whole new character..

very well done video of the transition and good luck with everything in the futre

  • Why isn't this guy on SNL?!

  • I don't care what anyone else says, that was positively awesome!

  • There are tons of impression videos on the internet but to be able to do that many in a row seamlessly and nail most of them takes talent. You're going places buddy (if you aren't already there). The fact that you made the whole delivery like a lecture just makes it that much better.

  • This is amazing on so many levels. lol

  • Damn, that was awesome. Must be extremely hard to keep track of the pictures and doing the voices all at once.

  • A Jeff Goldblum impression, awesome you don't hear alot of those

  • wow hes a great voice actor i wonder how do u really get in the VO business?

  • My grandparents were visiting and I brought this up on the TV to watch and they loved it! They'd never heard such wonderful impersonations, obviously they loved all the old cartoon character impressions but they made me replay your Marty Mcfly and Doc Brown ones about 10 times they loved it so much. You're a vocal genius and this performance was amazing! I didn't know Tidus was so vocally versatile :D

  • Were you Pistachio from the movie, Master of Disguise?

  • so funny how voices are linked yet individually unique and aren't you the guy who does ratchet from ratchet and clank too...i love that character !!

  • Comment removed

  • Tidus! =)

  • Not all impressions are going to be spot-on, but impressions aren't just about how much it sounds like another person, it's also the mannerisms, the way they talk and act. In that respect, these impressions are amazing, especially considering the transition from voice to voice, and overall just the speed that he's able to do it.

James, you are an amazing voice actor. You'll always be Tidus to me!

  • WTF!!!!!!! O.O

  • Loved the transition between Popeye and Al Pacino. Keep up the great work!

  • when i was a kid my two favourite games were final fantasy X and ratchet and clank 3 :D and you did an AMAZING job in them :)

  • That was fantastic! James is such a talented voice actor but being that the first videogame I played and beat as a kid was Final Fantasy X, I will always hear his regular voice with an image of Tidus in my head. I would have never thought he could do so many voices but wow was I blown away! Great video.

  • He is the best ratchet ever

  • I will forever remember you as Johnny Test. LOL

  • How...what...when...wow. You blow me away. I am just amazed at your work. Forget all those negative comments. I inspire to be a terrific voice actor like you and I can honestly say you are one of my biggest idols in the voice acting world. Your work is great (I know that took a loooooooong time) and...it's just awesome. Hats off to you. =]

  • Perhaps not all of them were spot on, but of course when you're doing them that quickly you have to excuse a minor inaccuracy, I feel like if he'd done them all separately with time to prepare for each individually they would be spot on! Excellent work, I'm ashamed to say I have only ever heard him as Tidus in FFX, although after reading his voice roles I've realised I've heard him as Jack Sparrow in Kingdom Hearts II aswell, defo fooled me! I actually thought it was Johnny Depp haha!

  • Brilliant! Love the "Six Degrees of Voices" idea!

  • I love your work! Awesome as always :)

  • I'm actually a little stunned you didn't throw the Grinch or Mark Hamill's version of the Joker because those voices are sooo unique

  • And people thought my impressions of characters were good. I bow down to the master of the voices. *bows*

  • OH I NEVER get tired of that!

  • Oh my gosh that was fantastic!!!! I was cheering and laughing through the whole act! You sir, are amazing! XD

  • I don't mean to be judgmental but some of those were awful and some were great really spot on but the delivery of all them was funny I am a big fan

  • @jaycash12345 Well, I appreciate the honesty, but I must say that using a word like "awful" is not a way to get someone to feel good. And frankly, it's better to say, "in your opinion, not all of them hit the mark..." It's always better to encourage than discourage and the words we use do go a long way in that. Thanks for feedback. JAT

  • @JamesArnoldTaylor you, sir, are awesome. i enjoyed this alot, thanks for having epic voice skills ;o)

  • @JamesArnoldTaylor Absolutely incredible, James. I am a huge fan of Star Wars: The Clone Wars so I decided to check out your other work, and boy am I glad I did! As an aspiring voice actor myself, you are a great inspiration. Thank you so much for uploading and being awesome! -Darius, WA

  • @JamesArnoldTaylor Well said JAT.

  • @JamesArnoldTaylor You are probably the greatest voice actor I have heard and the best role that you have done I believe was when you played Tidus in Final Fantasy 10 and I was wondering if you could do that voice for us or make a video where you say some of the lines of Tidus or you do an entire cutscene from the game because I would like to see you do the voice.

  • @jaycash12345 Ya you dick lol. It's amazing that he can do so many and put them together the way he did.

  • @jaycash12345 I think the acoustics in the recording don't accurately convey some of the impressions, so they sound off. I believe if you heard them live, they'd all be spot on! Amazing work, James!

  • Hehe you can do Al Pacino, I want to see you do his Scarface voice :D

  • I like the part when he did Michael j. Fox! Lol

  • Awesome!

  • How on Earth do you keep track? :D x

  • This is awesome

  • Ok this is really awesome. I knew there was a reason James Taylor was one of my favorite voice actors.

  • "Who are all these PEOPLE??!!!" LOL, I think Seinfeld was my favorite!

  • Seinfeld to Shaggy... Hilarious!!

  • I love how you do Marty and Doc's voices, I remember having my dad sit me down to watch Back to the Future for the first time, having no idea whats going on and now you bring such warmth to the characters. It would be awesome if you could gather a bunch of vocal impressionists to do a few scenes from the movie that seem exciting.

  • This is amazing!

  • He talks like ratchet normaly. HMMM

  • I got to find my socks now... Because you knocked them off... lol

  • I've never known you'd be able to perfect Spongebob's voice but you certainly showed it! =D Awesome show you pulled off!

  • Your Shia LeBouf, Yogi Bear and Captain kirk impersonations were spot on and priceless.

You are equally as awesome as Max Sterling and Fluttershy!

    Fluttershy: *yay*

  • How did you take the video when you where on stage????

  • You've probably heard of me by now as the Ultimate Impressionist, but in terms of such professional work and perfectly blending each voice together, as you said a vocal highway, my hat goes off to you, James.

  • frank caliendo has best Madden impression hands down, but since you did the voice for tidus in FFX, your good in my book

  • Shifting your voices so dramatically and quickly, and you make it sound so easy! Not many people would be able to pull that off. You are amazing.

  • Your talent is amazing, I keep voice acting myself, but never, ever, will I be as good as you JAT! Oh, and this is a great video!

  • Amazing stuff, very inspiring. Love your work, though the English accents could use a wee bit of improvement, but that could be as you've mentioned due to the rapid changing - I certainly wouldn't be able to do this and I envy you for it. Good work!

  • This is so awesome! You have such an amazing talent!!! Keep up the great work!

Can't wait for season 4 of The Clone Wars, by the way! ;)

  • Awesome video! I have been working on my impressions because of your work! You are an inspiring person Mr. Taylor! God bless you!

  • I'm just wondering, can you, James do an impression of Jim Parsons?

  • You are my inspiration. I've been slowly working on my different voices and impersonations but I can't quite get Doc Brown. I always sound like that dead old clerk that smokes in the old BeetleJuice movie.

  • It's not fair how good this guy is.

  • @RandomTask3000 Then again, James, it's pretty clear that you work your ass off. So I guess it is fair. But it still makes me angry.

Got mad love for ya. I will always be a fan. Even though you make me angry by being so awesome.

  • The Sweedish chef one was Awesome!

  • Daniel Radcliff? More like Ringo Star.

  • @0BatGirl0 Sorry it didn't hit the mark for you. When you're throwing them out that quickly you don't always hit it just right, but try and keep the critiques friendly, I do read these after all : ) Best-JAT

  • Yeah I lol'd at the Nic Cage bit! Dang that's impressive!

  • thankyou so much James for putting your work up, I'd love to go to your shows but its a bit hard when your living in Australia, your Nicholas Cage was terrifyingly accurate!

  • Some don't quite work... but many of them are VERY good. The fact that he's able to transition so quickly is pretty impressive regardless.

  • @CodeXCDM When you're doing so may that quickly not everyone will hit everyone's ears the same way. And everyone has an opinion on how each person should sound. Thanks for watching either way. Best JAT

  • @JamesArnoldTaylor Cool. Response from the man behind Ratchet/Tidus. Don't get me wrong, overall I did find this presentation quite enjoyable. Anyway, keep up the great work.

  • @JamesArnoldTaylor OMG. U r my idol now. I love voice impressions and u r totally amazing at them! I wish u can teach me or train to be a professional voice impressionist. It's like my dream!!! XD

  • DUDE! THAT was AMAZING! you are the KING! of Voice acting. I remember being at that show like it was YESTERDAY!

  • You, Dee Bradley Baker, and Frank Welker all need to get on stage together and do this. Call it. THE GODS OF VOICES.

  • @TheShadowedOne1 Well Frank and Dee really excel at creature voices. So I wouldn't mind seeing a showdown between them in that regard.

  • @Superstarseven Yeah. Heck, do a EPIC VOICE BATTLE. Who would win?

  • Well, blow me down! ...(and away!!!) Heavens to Murgatroyd, you, sir, are a walking voice trust!! That was spectacular!

  • (implodes)

  • Awesome

  • DUDE! THAT WAS BRILLIANT!

    Best show yet!

Hahaha, seriously, I was cracking up the whole time.

  • Jesus Christ o.O. Any chance I can harvest your voice box and use it for my own :P?

  • Amazing work. You're an inspiration.

  • Please excuse the bits of my brain that have splattered upon the comments. My mind just got BLOWN! Amazing!!

  • It doesn't surprize me anymore that James is the most talented man on the planet. The man who voices Ratchet, Johnny Test and so many others, you never cease to amaze me sir.

  • JAT: I had the honor of being in the audience the night you taped this. It was, and is, an incredible demonstration of a true virtuoso at work. The amazing thing, though, was that as great as this was, this wasn't the best thing you did that night. That honor rests with the message of hope your entire show imparts to your audience. You have been, and continue to be, an inspiration to me to chase my dreams. Congratulations again.

  • Wow, this is totally incredible! Whenever I watch you do this, I just sit there in awe. Your precision and the speed at which you change your tone is amazing! You've got to be one of the greatest guys this world has ever seen. Great going, James!

  • lol amazing, i love the christopher walken

  • oh man, I've heard you do this like a hundred times to the point of almost memorization, and I love it that much more each time I see it. You are such an incredible voice actor, JAT!

  • Loved seein' this live during Star Wars Weekend, keep up the good work JAT !

  • amazing work! God bless Mr.Taylor!

  • Stuns me every time! Wonderful work!

  • Any time some one does Walkin it always makes me laugh.
