Jesus is Immanuel because he is God in flesh that came to dwell with us and the purpose of his coming was to save the world from their sins. As for the Bible, it's what the Holy Spirit teaches u that is God's word not what ur head thinks up or was taught in school. Moreover, he should know about types and shadows-sth happenin in d past to illustrate d future.

The bible is fiction, not fact. God has no proof of existing and find it astonishing people believe in and practice religion with no proof of God whatsoever. Plus GOD is one of the most evil, jealous, egotistical beings in fiction. I am happy i don't live under his celestial dictatorship.

:) is it you the lecturer? correct me if I misunderstood, but I don`t quite agree that king james commissioned some scholars to make up the bible, they compiled </b>existing<b> books. also, there are other bibles besides king james one, and, despite I don`t have the data, some of them must be previous. in fact, the canonical gospels where stated to be the "true" ones among many ("false") others, by the catholic church,about the time they became the official roman empire's religion, 4th century.

it's not me in the video but this is a man who went to school specifically to learn about religion so his words definitely have credibility. What he is saying is that they took those existing books, translated them into the writing style of their day and added interpolations or, misrepresentations that made it perhaps more interesting. Understand that those were different times and the bible was a means of control over james' subjects.

I'm not sure who this so-called person is but it would be nice to talk with him. The bible speaks of people like him who are, "void of understanding" Prov 7:7,12:11,10:13,17:18. The bible also speaks about "false teachers" 2 Peter 2:1-22,Ezekiel 13:1-23,1 John 4:1-21,Jude 1:1-25. The bibel also speaks about a "lying tongue" Proverbs 6:16-19, Proverbs 26:28.
