  • Would a snare with brushes work well in a jam with a guitarist, a violin and bongos playing stuff like Hey Joe and the Pulp Fiction tune or would it be out of place?

  • @Sandyhendry I used to go to an acoustic jam session where a guy would come along and do precisely that and he was always warmly welcomed. Djembe players on the other hand generally recieved an opposite response

  • He's a fine drummer, no one can argue with that, a very tasteful one. However, to say he's the top of the brushes is to go too far . Personally I prefer a more beefy approach to these patterns.

And, in a different style, if you want to listen to great music done with brushes, listen to Elvin Jones with Tommy Flanagan in the album Overseas.

    Anyway Bravo Stefano.

  • Incredible!! ...if there is such thing as mastering the brushes...well he gotta be there ain't he....?
